Hi guys.
I'm 21 years old. Have been lifting for 3 months and gained 6kg, would like to gain a lot quicker.
I eat as much as possible but have poor appetite. To supplement I take 20g creatine, 250g of maltodextrin and 100g whey protein p/day.
On days I am lifting I take a standard measure of BCAAs + 10g creatine during workout and a maltodextrin/creatine/whey shake after.
I really want to gain muscle mass and strength quicker. Should I be taking any other supplements besides maltodextrin, protein, creatine and BCAAs?
Should I take a test booster? If so, any recommendations?

Why are you taking so much plain malto?
What is your TDE? Are you tracking your macros?
A test booster won't do a whole lot for you at your age. Stacking ClearMuscle, PhosphaMuscle, PlasmaMuscle is a pretty beast stack for gains if you are training hard and at high volume. Or individually they are solid as well.

I wouldn't gain weight any quicker than you are. 2kg/month is a pretty good pace. Go any faster and you'll likely just put on extra fat.
5g/creatine is enough. Why on earth would you need that much maltodextrin? Your whey has plenty of BCAAs in it already. You can't help the hopeless.

At 21 there is no need for any T/Boosting supplements as your body is at its prime for building.
You need to be monitoring your macro's you ingest throughout the day and look at something along the lines of 35-40% Protein, 40-45% Carbs with 20% fats and make it as much real food as possible. Eating whole foods will help with digestion, gaining essential nutrients and aiding in building muscle much better than loading up with supplements.
Your Creatine intake is way too high and a waste as the majority you ingest will go straight out in your urine. 3-5g daily is more than sufficient for a guy your size.
If you are struggling to eat then i would suggest an appetite enhancer to supplement in as this will aid in a more efficient digestion and will help you to eat more food, but still keep within a decent macro limit and calorie intake.
You need to really be looking at what your body actually needs calorie wise at rest then add in some other factors on how much exercise you do or how hectic your lifestyle is to add calories. Basically eat around 500 calories more than what is required daily to enable steady mucle gain and so not to gain too much fat.
Can you list what you actually eat in throughout the course of the day if you dont mind?Believe to Achieve

Like I tell everyone, increase your healthy fat intake and this should help, but really you should be fine at your age!

Thanks for all the replies guys, will take your advice into account - I've cut back to 5g creatine and 100g of maltodextrin p/day. Ahaha, thanks for making me laugh. I honestly didn't know I was taking too much creatine.
I was taking 250g of maltodextrin because I have a poor appetite and was eating less than maintenance, so I wanted to make sure I was getting enough calories.
I was just wondering if there are any other important supplements I should be taking, and testosterone boosters came to mind - will hold off them for a few years and take some of the advice given in this thread
thanks

You've only been lifting 3 months? **** me and my bs genetics Your avi gots me jelly. Keep it up. Whole foods, heavy weights and rest! Supps for the fun of it.
There are no OTC supps you should be taking. But if your going to continue to go overkill on the amounts than have at it! When I'm feeling a little frisky I like over doing it with my beta-alanine and Tyrosine. Lol!
O and check back w us in three years you're going to be a beast if you keep it up

Dang....cut down on the malto! Take about 20gms after workouts. Trade the rest out for sweet potatos/oats/brown rice/plain cheerios. If u want to gain strength... lecithin granules may help. I love it; 1 tbsp 45 min b4 training with 1 tbsp coconut oil!!!

Why not just use table sugar if that's the case? Maltodextrin is just another polysaccharide. Save your money. Better yet, use fat for calories if that's all you need. The other piece here is just sucking it up and force feeding. That's part of the game sometimes. Further, 4 scoops of protein powder a day? You only weigh 146 and need ~108g a day to meet your macro. This is beyond easy to eat even if you don't have a strong appetite. Save your money on protein powder and just eat food.
It sounds like your problem is that you're not willing to eat enough to make your gains, so you just drink your calories. Not that there is anything necessarily wrong with that, but your hosed once you actually put on some size and need to increase your calories further.
Would not worry about supplements any further. You need to work on your diet. Your pace of gaining weight is fine.
