Quit my job, sold everything. Leaving to travel the world. First stop Norway!

Sup misc brahs. Goin on a bit of an adventure here. I just recently quit my job, sold everything, and leave to travel the world at the end of April. Rough outline of the trip looks like this:

Leave for Norway April 29th. Stay in Norway for 3 weeks.
Fly from Norway to Indonesia. Spend a month there.
From Indonesia, head to Thailand, Vietnam, and then Malaysia. Stay for however long I feel like.
From Malaysia fly to Brazil. Spend anywhere from 3-6 months in Brazil.

I'm currently a 4-stripe blue belt in BJJ, with the goal of hopefully getting my purple belt while I'm down in Rio training with my head instructors down there. I will be training as much as I possibly can everywhere else I travel to. I will be competing down in Brazil as well.

I had originally planned for the trip to be anywhere from 6-7 months, but I have enough saved I could extend it to at least a year and be okay. So im just gonna go with the flow and stay longer in the places that I really enjoy. Ive never been so excited for anything in my whole life! Im gonna be making a website and putting out videos of my travels so ill make sure to let you misc brahs know about that when I have it ready to go.

My lifelong friend who has been travelling the world for the past 6 months ended up working there. Hes the head trainer at a Crossfit gym there and invited me to come stay. I wouldn't be going to Norway if he wasn't there (expensive as fuk normally) but ill have a place to stay and ive always wanted to go there

Why directly from Norway to Indonesia. Why not travel Europe and Asia by car/trains? A trip around the world is much better if you experience everything on your way and not just stop at certain countries.

But i think you should check out eastern europe as well man.
Maybe not russia for obvious reasons, but ive heard that region is an amazing place to explore

My friend is living in Kristiansand so that's where ill be staying for the most part. I will be there for that day! I leave Norway around May 23-24.

Can confirm. Will be in the southern part for most of my time there. My angus is peppered. I come from one of the coldest parts of Canada so ive been training my whole life for this.

Mirin, I want to do the same, when I ask myself, what would I do if money was no object, i'd be traveling the world, too bad airplane tickets costs a load, but I will definately do the same, where will you be staying in Indonesia? Bali is very tourist friendly, Java is full of smog nowadays.. you should also visit Polynesia
