A good friend of my family is currently fighting Lyme disease and complications from the disease having been undiagnosed for 13 years.
She is a beautiful human being, and deserves a fighting chance on this rock just like the rest of us. Her husband had to stop working to become her primary caretaker, so the major impediment to her recovery is money for proper treatment. Hey Misc-ommunity, just wanted to give an update. Sarah's YouCaring fund reached $32K, so she is on her way to the treatment facility now. The fundraising goal has been increased to pay for her long-term treatment plan.
