id say the average these days for an 18 year old is around 5'10-5'11 but it varies alot from person to person, so its hard to say

Actually I'm 17 and a half. I started lifting when I turned 17 and pretty much stopped growing then as well...

2 inches above isn't even noticeble my brother is 6'0 and he doesn't look that much bigger its ur self esteem thats low BC of the misc

It depends, for most American men its about average, but for 18-29 year olds, its a big on the short side. I'm 5'9 1/2 my self and I feel somewhat short compared to my other brothers and classmates, but I feel about average compared to most other men when I walk around in the mall or movie theater or wherever, and i'm about 2 inches taller than my dad.

Dude relax and yes there is a difference next time u go out compare urself to a 5'7 dude and there is a difference that's if ur a legit barefoot 5'9 . for example are Marlon Brando and tom cruise are they the same size ? No.

I am a legit bare-footed 5'9. Although I think I pretty much only just scrape 5'9, maybe when my spine is fully extended I'm a little past. I got measured towards the end of the day and the spine decompresses by an inch but I'm not 5'10 for sure.
