Now that the most boring World Series in recent memory is over, I figured I'd make a thread for the signings/trades/prospect rankings/etc since NBA/NFL is going to dominate the front page of the sports misc for the coming months.
free agency starts in 5 days. my predictions: Hamilton to the Orioles and Jake Peavy to the Royals. oh and A-rod gets dealt.

honestly dude even though it was never going to match up to the excitement of last year's world series, this year was awful. and its the Tigers' fault for playing like absolute garbage for the first 3 games
speaking of the Angels, apparently Torii got lowballed. the story is they offered him 1-year at a "significantly reduced salary" and he rejected it and now wants to sign elsewhere

i'm a yankee fan and the 2001 WS was still the best WS i've ever seen.
it went 7 games
we lost
my city had just been bombed by terrorists
what johnson and schilling did was simply biuriful.
7 game series are memorable. sweeps are not. they mean one team just didn't show up.***Not done with my drink till I've crunched all the ice crew***

lol I figured they would have to either try and trade him or convert him into a third basemen or something..
brb signing Yasiel Puig for $42M and then blocking him at the major league level with 3 contracts that dont expire till like 2018? idiotic front office.
their new regime is going to run the team into the ground. I'm half expecting them to try and move Hanley this offseason too

It is a joke.
Hoping the nats acquire some bullpen arms this offseason. Despite his absolute disaster of a choke, I want to keep storen. I'm over Clippard though.
Other than that I'm okay with what the nats have going forward. Outside of Espinosa, I think the lineup is very strong.
Also interested to see what they do with ejax. Think the rotation is set with Stras/Gio/zimmnn/detwiler. If ejax can be signed to a reasonable deal I'm okay with bringing him back.*Cam Newton Crew*
