    Can u brahs aware me on how to Intermittent Fast effectively?

    Want to try intermittent fasting but need some more info, any of you brahs done this effectively for substantial weight loss? Please share your fasting routine for the week and any other helpful info.

    yeah ive read a bunch of info on it in the weight loss section of the forum, i'm thinking i'm going to do the 16/8 hour split but don't know if this is an everyday thing or every other day the info isnt very clear.

    Just eat 8 hours straight and fast 16hrs straight(include sleep with your fasting time)

    You just fast for a certain period of time and eat within a given time frame. It's nothing special, IMO it's just beneficial for satiety on a cut. I currently do a variation of IF right now.

    I'm doing it currently on a bulking approach though.
    16 hour fast and you only eat in an 8 hour window
    I eat from 3pm-11pm and then fast from there till 3pm the next day.
    The days that you train your post workout meal will be your largest 40- 45% of your calories.
    The days that you don't train your first meal will be 40- 45% of your calories.

    This is an everyday thing unless you wanna do the 24hr fast then that's done about 2 times weekly

    Everyday although I skipped some days but 1 day skip wouldnt make much a difference

    You eat what you need to fit you.I will eat a salad and I have these stuffed chicken breasts 2 of them like 230 calories and27 protein. Then little later I have been addicted to Wendy's chilli.and some sort of a ice cream or yogurt.I eat between 4 to 8 pm

    Lol I'm far from a broscientist. From the research I've seen, the data is inconclusive at best. Some research shows promising results, but again there isn't enough data to fully support some of the more extravagant claims behind IF. Unless there is some research that I'm unaware of? If there is, please link me to said studies(srs, genuinely interested, not being confrontational)

    All science says is IIFYM thats all that matters for diet, when you eat, how often doesn't matter.

    Here is how I am running it right now. 18 Hour Fast 6 hour eating period. I break fast at 6pm.

    On work out days I eat 1 packet of oatmeal and 2 eggs an hour and a half prior. Post work out I have a 30g 160 cal protein shake.

    all this hype for IF, your starving yourself for 16 hours and only have a 7 to 8 hours windows to eat your RDA of calories minus 500 or so, i mean why would someone want to eat one or 2 big meals per day rather then eating 8 small meals
