    Cardio Eeeek!

Looking for alternative forms of cardio, right now Im doing stepmill, running, playing sports and erging on occasion. I am going to begin to bike, but am not really sure what the equivalent would be if I run 8 mph on the treadmill, other than these what other forms of cardio would you recommend?

    Thanks

Punch, dodge, punch, punch....with a lot of foot work ...

Just beating the sack to pulp isn't going to be a good workout.
If your body cannot handle it, make sure sheer willpower will.....

    barbell complexes e.g. "the bear"

    circuits with light weights e.g.
    - pushups x 7
    - ab wheel rollouts from knees x 5
    - chinups x 4

rest for 15-20 seconds between each - go from 20 mins

other exercises that work well in a circuit are:
    - dips
    - jump squats
    - power cleans
    - clapping pushups
    - DB snatches

20 min of freestyle swimming, but doing it as HIIT. 2 laps as fast and hard as you can, rest for 1 min to 2 min, repeat. Man its tough, but it really cuts fat quick, and has improved my overall musculature as well as giving me more stability in all my lifts. Hope this helps.

    Good training to you sir.

Circuit training with weights is my favorite to do in the winter. I have more fun using my road bike in the summer though.
