From what it looked like, it appeared to be more of a neuromuscular firing issue rather than a strength issue - which means that once your body feel more comfortable firing the way it needs to for heavy squats, your strength will start shooting up...
Good stuff!

Totally. All the way through my acclimation sets everything seemed to be firing, looked to be a GREAT day, but upon reaching 385 eh eh not so much. Yeah working in an elementary school, its an endless fight against the germs. LOL100% Natural Bodybuilding!

holy $hit how did I never think of those one arm db floor presses?! So much easier to set up when training solo. Thanks for posting that!
Leg day looked awesome. Looked like you only had one leg wrapped on the occluded sets, do you just alternate each set or is it alright to wrap both at the same time? I was gonna give those a try today.NSCA-CPT, CSCS

leg press machine-Variable resistance training
"That Cybex Squat Press is the best leg press machine ever invented. I have one at my gym and I love it!!"
The leg press he is using is one of the better leg presses out there because it is a Variable resistance machine. much like the chains or bands, as the leg press goes to the top of the movement the resistance increases and gets much harder at the point when you past that point and lose the tension when it gets easier.
I have a similar machine at home built by Bigger faster stronger and works in the same exact manner, called a leverage leg press. An old issue of Muscular Dev, talked about the difference between this machine and the ones where the weight goes up and down on a bar where the resistance remains the same throughout the move based on a study out of the the Journal of medicine and science in sports and exercise. These are the ones that just seem very easy to push through as this ones takes a bit more strength to perform the movement, so if you can use this cybex machine, the better off you will be as afr as what the leg press can do for you.

Its one of the few highlights of the 24 closest to mi casa
Enjoyed it, and wasn't as foreign as I had imagined. Nope both, the shorts were over the other one. First time I see Chris sweat in the gym
Bah....let's see if in 10lbs I am still squatting nice Of course that is the goal, I would love to do a PL meet at 165.
If I showed you the hack squat at that gym you would laugh. I have no knee issues at all, except when I do this one. Jeff Rodriguez said the same thing about it when he was working out regularly at this gym in particular.
LOL! Well at least when you cheat you count your macros ha ha ha
Most importantly I have your dream CHO at 700 lol
Good form, but kind of a crappy movement IMO
Many other good horizontal rows to pick from
Feels so much more like free weight. Kinda like a good HS machine does. Unfortunately I can't leg press to often since it messes with my SI joint, however I did adjust a few things for yesterdays session and I feel GREAT today.

Thanks man and saw the video with that and think that I see you sliding up a bit on the seat behind you which i feel keeps you more set on this exercise as well, essentially you don't any portion of the higher end of your glutes coming off the pad behind you so that your sacral area stays on the pad as this will compress the anterior portion of the sacral area of the spine as well. The more your back round off of there the more pulling you will get in the muscles surrounding the SI joint. I like coming off the bottom corner of the pad as well about 3-4 inches. Dr. Joe showed me that and it has really helped out a lot.

I was feeling pretty good thinking....."Man, my decline bench is almost as strong as Berto's"......"and we weigh EXACTLY the same this week". Then I saw how lean you are and realize I gotta a lot of work to do! DANG, man. For how far you are out.......you are one, ridiculously lean dude. Hardly "UGLEY". And still taking in 400g of carbs on low days? Sheesh!
