    Post Workout Protein

    A little background:
I've been working out for last 6 months in a gym. My main aim when I started to reduce my tummy...so I concentrated more on Cardio Exercises but also did Muscle building exercise...though I did reduce it somewhat and lost like 6 pounds...but my friends have started saying that I beginning to look week...so I'm now doing more of muscle building now and I think I need to start taking some post work out protein as well, earlier i used to eat boiled eggs...

So which one for me...I've searched a little bit and found just too much information...but after reading I've found...i should take..

Whey Protein preferably cold processed (is it very important?) and not very expensive...i don't want to spend too much..Well the one fitting this is..

Vitamin Shoppe VS-1434 (can't post a link...u can google it)

Is this good? Or should I just get Optimum whey and be happy with..

And Also I've heard good things about syntha-6 on another forum...is it better compared to rest?

    Regards,

    What is your weight?

What amount (in grams) of protein are you currently ingesting from any source (whether whole foods or any supplements)

I am asking the above questions because you may or may not benefit from supplementing with protein powder.

I wouldn't overthink it. Just pick a whey protein for post workout that is within your budget and tastes GOOD ENOUGH that'll you'll drink it everytime.

Stay away from muscletech or any brand that promises you the moon and you'll generally avoid some of the most overpriced hype.

100% agreed. Just ordered in the Caramel Nut Fudge flavour. Tastes like a liquified Carmilk bar.

Jump on the bandwagon, they got about 15 different flavors.
