Taking into consideration that Haney is from a past era of bodybuilders where technology, supplementation etc., were not where it is today, Haney has 8 Olympia wins, whereas Jay has 3. Simple logic tells us that Haney > Jay...at least at this point.
As well, obviously Ronnie is tied with Haney for greatness.
Whether or not one likes Jay's, Ronnie's or Haney's body the best is subjective and is simply opinion, which is going to vary from person to person.
In my opinion, Ronnie has produced the greatest physique of all time to date...just my opinion though.================================

LOL, Dex is also 2-3 inches shorter than Jay. Now imagine Dex's weight on someone 5'11 like Haney, or 6'2 like Arnold. Even with Dex being short he is very outmassed by a superior Jay. Jay would make Haney and Arnold look quite small. And its not just size, Jay had the best conditioning in the show aside from Branch. His shape is good, and he has improved his symmetry, no one is perfect.
Yep.
actually no, the thread is nothing about who was more dominant, or who won more Sandows. It is talking about the physique. So taking the two side by side, Jay would win. More size and better conditioning.

Well, that is YOUR opinion. I think Haney would win...better waist line, better flow, better X-frame and taper, plus awesome conditioning. Better overall physique. Again, that is just my opinion.
And just for the record...the reason why Haney and Ronnie have won 8 Olympias is BECAUSE they both had the BEST physiques during their era. BEST PHYSIQUE = MOST SANDOWS WON...it's simple math...so my previous post has merit.================================

I wouldn't have said that Jay has beaten a stellar field by any means
Going by the Mr O only
Jay became competitive from the 2001 Olympia onwards
Kevin Levrone-
Was at his best from 92 to late 90's. Only competed against Levrone twice from 2001 onwards, beating him by 1 place in 2001, and in 2003- Levrone's worst Mr O perfromance due to a torn tricep shortly before the contest.
Shawn Ray-
Prime was during the 90's. Retired in 2001, following 4th place.
Chris Cormier - Only competed against each other 3 times in the Olympia post 2001. Although squared off in the Arnold classic on a number of occassions
Dexter Jackson
Nasser El sonbaty-
Nasser was well past his prime when Cutler became competitive in 2001. Nasser got 9th in 2001, and 15th in 2002 his last Mr Olympia
Melvin Anthony- legend?
Markus Ruhl-
fan favourite, but has by no means a great competitive record, certainly not legend status
Gunter Schlierkamp- legend?
Dennis James- by no means a great competitive record, highlight 4th in 2003 Mr O
Lee Priest- Only competed once post 2001, and Lee came 15th in the 2003 Mr O.
I'm not necessarily saying that Jay couldn't have beaten some off those listed above or hasn't, but it's not great competition.
Dexter, and Cormier- yes.
Levrone, Ray, Nasser- never competed during their respective primes.
Anthony, Ruhl, Schlierkamp, James, and Priest- not the greatest of competitors, certainly not legends

And Dex is what, 4 inches shorter than Haney and they weigh around the same (correct me if I?m wrong on this). And to the person who said something about Jay having a gut, come on! Show me another 260 lbs + bbler under 6" with such an excellent stomach control as Jay...
Look how vascular I am, Brian! If there`s one thing women love it`s a vascular man!
