Best Protein to take before bed?

I'm leaning toward Optimum Nutrition 100% Casein Protein.

I found the 2lb for $25 which is one months worth. I wish I could it were just a little cheaper.

anyway what is your favorite before bed protein powder?

If you want a protein powder, a blend that contains milk or casein would work well, particularly if you add PB or almond butter. Whole food is another good option. During prep my final meal was usually fish and a fat source. Whole eggs are excellent too/

x2 i actually really love the way nitrocore tastes. i think (not really sure off the top of my head) that nitrocore may be a little cheaper per serving, plus it has added fiber. it also is primarily micellar casein and whey like up 1.0

x2 for cottage cheese. lucerne brand from safeway is pretty good and is like 2 bucks for eight servings if you get it on sale. 14grams of protein a serving, will last ya a month for less than ten bucks.
Milk is for babies, when you grow up you drink beer.

This is what Im using now. Yes it is a little pricey, but I buy the 4lb tub and that lasts about 2 months......one less thing to have to worry about when it lasts for that long.

It depends what sort of dieting phase you're in. Not everyone needs casein before bed. Some people, like myself, notice zero difference when they drink a whey shake, compared to casein, before sleep.
