I dont get the difference between wearing a Tapout shirt and an NFL jersey.

What is wrong with supporting a sport?

You dont hear people yelling at a guy wearing a jets jersey going 'Hey buddy you think your an NFL player?!"

because people wearing an nfl jersey are perceived as being supportive of a specific team, but affliction is a brand worn by a certain type of person

so if like, every nfl dude started wearing a brand and then some douche started wearing it, then that'd be lame

I also fight in a league and train my ass off.
I have never paid over 30 dollars for an affliction shirt and have never even had to pay for a ufc shirt.

So I am at this rowdy azz bar havin a few drinks and this dude comes in wearing an affliction shirt (kinda like tapout for those not in the know) people started picking on this guy and basically laughed him out the bar. Dude was not an azz or anything just sat and watched the baseball game and they started heckling him calling him stuff like "yo poser" "hey you think your ufc man? wanna fight outside?" I felt bad for the guy. I own tapout shirts and dont train mma, and I think some of the affliction stuff looks tight. I dont own tapout shirts cuz I think I am tough, I do it because I like mma. If someone ask what it is, it is almost like I promote the stuff.

So why does this bother people?

because 90% of people that wear affliction are either posers or douchebags

You do realize that those shirts aren't made primarily for people who train in MMA, right? They are produced for the people who like MMA, whether you're in training or not.

I don't see how there is any difference in wearing a football jersey or a baseball cap than wearing one of these shirts.

Affliction just sponsors MMA fighter but i 1st saw rocker guys wearing em and then the MMA guys. i really dont give a **** who wears them if i think something looks badass and i can afford it im gunna wear it. no other shirt really looks like an affliction shirt i mean it may be the same design but not nearly as detailed.
