If you enjoy driving, racing, modifying or anythign else about cars, post in here. Intro with car and specs, no spoon pic needed as far as I'm concerned.
*NO FLAMING* *NO CALLING OUT* strictly car show and tell
Figured I'd post this here to keep the ignorant douche bags of the regular misc out.

Cool right on, I'm surprised their is not already a car thread.
Haha man there could be some massive flaming in this thread as it progresses!
Here's my ride.
An 08 Alloy 4.0 Mustang, 18" Polished Aluminum wheels, and tuned by Doug in Florida at Bamatunes via the handheld SCT XCal2 handheld tuner, with a CAI. The tuner is awesome, it allows access to all of the pertinent parameters for tweaking, shift timings, shift pressure, spark timing, idle rpms, air/fuel ratios, etc. I really didn't have the money for a GT when I picked this up last year, so I'll be trading it up for a GT next year. But either way I love it, plenty of torque and HP for my Daily Driver.
Currently putting down about 215rwhp., I'll be putting on the Powerhouse Pipeline Intercooled turbo, hopefully in the next 6 months or so. That should bump it up to about 350hp to the wheels.
Gonna end up being about $4,500.00, and it'll take me about 2 days to install it, taking my time of course...Wouldn't want to fck anything up installing the turbo, but I like to modify and work on my car myself. If I do install the turbo, I probably won't be upgrading to a GT, as the GT only gets about 270hp to the wheels, and I'll be getting around 350hp to the wheels. Also, the rods are forged and are better quality than those in the GT's.
Also plan on getting an Aluminum Driveshaft from Spider shafts, as well as the FRPP dual exhaust kit.
The shot was taken just after I had Washed, clay barred, and waxed it with Mother's SynWax, a synthetic wax. Synwax is a great wax for the hotter months, it's synthetic so it lasts much longer in the heat, and it leaves a great glass like reflection on the paint finish.

Dude that is pretty cool, I wish I had a beater like that I could roll around in. But I live in faggot as$ California, and somethin like that would never be allowed around Cali...Plus we have all kinds of smog laws, and that makes it even worse.
In fact I'm ready to move out of Cali, just because of the stupid liberals and the laws they put in place regarding cars and firearms.
I hate California to like a disgusting level.๏̯͡๏)♦-iRonMonkeys-♦๏̯͡๏)

Haha hell yea the good 'ol Foxbody. Weird that Ford went to that European boxy style in the 80's, I used to dislike them, but they've grown on me since I've since I've gotten my Mustang and respect all of them, big or small. I've never seen a Foxbody with Bullit wheels, that looks pretty damn mean.
Plus, Mustang owners tend to be very proud of their steeds, we keep 'em clean, polished, and powerful.๏̯͡๏)♦-iRonMonkeys-♦๏̯͡๏)

Nice! If I keep my 4.0, I plan on putting a crate engine in it in 5-6 years, It should put down close to 550hp I believe with the 460, add some forced induction and even better, but I'll need to put a stronger tranny in it to handle that kind of power.
If I get a really good deal going and make like 10K in commissions in the next 6 months or so, I'll be putting the turbo in it, as well as ground cams...Some guys are getting 40hp+ with ground cams in the 4.0's.
Bump the vid to :50, a godly sound. That is what I'd like to do once It's time to replace the engine. That was a v6, and the guy replaced the engine with a Ford Racing 460, 550hp.

What do you think you'll get on the quarter mile? Low 11's or high 10's? If you take it, be sure to have someone film it so you can post the vid on youtube and then post it here.
Do you have any experience at the track? do you know how to launch properly? I've never been to the track, and probably never will, but I've read alot about proper launching.๏̯͡๏)♦-iRonMonkeys-♦๏̯͡๏)

The CAR should be a solid mid 11 car on drag radials, low 11's with a great driver and it could posible click off a 10.9 with jesus driving and by lightening it up a little bit, but the first few times out ill be lucky to get it in the 11's at all. I know alot of people who race and i know you cant just jump into it and expect to run great times

launching is going to be the hardest part man. knowing how to slip that clutch without spinning tires too much is a tough groove to get into and on top of that when you go from 1st to 2nd you want to just mash her in there, but to get the best time you have to finesse it.
go to a couple of test and tune nights, you'll get it down in a few runs.
that's why you should come to the awd side of the trackBA, IFPA, ACE, NSCA CPT, NASM and now --->CSCS<---- woot!

Damn dude, you've had the same car since you were 15? That's pretty good at that age. I think in my first 5 or 6 years of driving I went through like 3 cars. The first one's engine seized, the second car was a brand new Tacoma in '98 and totaled it when some stupid teenage chick ran a stop sign and I slammed into her, then I got a CRX, sold it, blah blah blah
