I knew you'd dig that Cena theme
I'm stoked about that repout. I'd like to think I've got 290 now. Hopefully 300 after a few more weeks of straight weight training.
It's a good feeling- right now I'm confident I could hit a new 1rm on all of the big 3.
Haha thanks big guy! Got a ways to go yet
Woodbench works well but I might tone down the chain work. 4 weeks of that beat up my shoulders a bit, they've been feeling tender
Thanks fella! 3 weeks to ramp up then max! 300 is in the realm of possibilityPRs: Back Squat- 410x1 / Front Squat- 320x1/ Bench- 325x1 / Deadlift- 505x1

Wednesday 9.26.12- Deadwood Week 5
Missed my top DL rep today
I wasn't feeling 100%, so it could just be an off day. But it's also experimental programming lol
Deadlift
225 x 5
275 x 3
315 x 1
365 x 1 (lightning fast)
405 x 1
440 x 1
440 +60 chains x 0 (got the bar to about the knees and that was it)
sucks, but what can ya do except move on to next week!
On another note regarding chains on deadlifts: my chains are 30 pounds each, so I refer to the set as "(bar weight) +60 chains". Since I have the chain wrapped around the bar, 1/3 of each chain is off the ground before I even begin the lift. this makes 440+60 chains in reality 460+40 chains.
BB Row 5/3/1 Week 2
135 x 5
165 x 5
190 x 3
205 x 3
215 x 8
felt real good
21s
75 x 1 set
65 x 1 set
was supposed to do 65 pounds, but I misloaded the bar and didn't notice at first so I pushed through the set. Pump was insane
Lat Pulldowns
105 x 10
105 x 10
105 x 10
105 x 10
short rest, nice burnoutPRs: Back Squat- 410x1 / Front Squat- 320x1/ Bench- 325x1 / Deadlift- 505x1

big session for weight and volume
nice DL with chains and following BB rows with lat pulldowns will bring the thickness

I spent a lot of time working fronts, love those! I need to fit them back Into my routine, I haven't done them In months
Thanks fella! Rows are feeling strong. I actually kept then pretty damn strict this session
Thanks big fella! Hopefully the miss was just from an off day. Although deadwood is a little aggressive and I may need to tone it back a little bit.
The rows are feeling good tho! Back feels strong! Need that thickness!PRs: Back Squat- 410x1 / Front Squat- 320x1/ Bench- 325x1 / Deadlift- 505x1

Was your first 440x1 with chains too, or only the second? I wonder if you would have gotten it if you had done the chains first?

Damn, sucks about the missed pull. I still think you have the strength to pull 500 right now, just need everything to fall in place just right. Way to come back with some solid rows and curls man.
