I work LP, if anyone wants to know about LP just ask, but one funny thing I noticed and this is mainly for females.
MAKE SURE YOU WASH all new clothes you buy from a retail store. 100% chance some girl wearing a dress without any panties on tried on those pants you bought then took them off only to hang them back on a rack, pussy stains n all.
I've watched fat chicks with no panties on try on pants right on the salesfloor, even getting a camel toe from it, only to take them off and put them back.

I worked at dairyqueen
surprsingly none of us ever spit in drinks or food no matter how much a customer pissed us off, we just never went that far, joked about it but would never do it.
mini blizzards are a waste of your money size isnt worth the money
everything on the menu is insanely high in cals. Most things 800+ cals, chicken strip basket being 1600 cals. average small blizzard = 750 cals
our hot food is actually legit. Idk about you guys but wendys, mcdonalds etc always gave me ****ty hot food, smushed, meat tasting gross, they ignore special requests like hold tomato etc. We actually have awesome burgers/ all hot food.

The difference between that 250 dollar Black & Decker mower and the 500 dollar Troy-Bilt is the plastic. They're all made from a manufacturing company called MTD.
Weird fact. Mowers, wheelbarrows and grills all are transported crated up and taken apart. Most stores that sell them have somebody full time just putting them back together once they're shipped back in.
If you see fragile on a box nobody cares. Freight is just thrown in the truck however it can fit, nobody organizes it or cares how it's stacked. Half the lightbulbs that come out of those tracks are shattered before I can even think of getting them on a pallet to the sales floor.
If a bag has a hole in it I'll tape it up. If you're rude to me when I'm helping you load your car I'll put my hand over the hole, or even poke a small one in the bag on the way in.
All in all, if you're nice and treat me like a decent human being I'll sell you only what you need at the lowest price and not try to bump up sales, I might even tell you a store that has a better selection/cheaper alternative. If you're rude I'll use technical jargon to convince you that you need about 30 dollars in accessory products that are absolutely worthless.***House of Cringe-We Actually Lift Crew***

Can't discuss nuclear job for obvious reasons now.
But at Burger King my previous job, myself and others would eat food in the kitchen during morning prep and sometimes when there were no customers. I usually cut the chicken that is put on the salads and I would eat a few chunks for each slab of chicken. Tasted great lol!Deadlift 520lbs

Almost every day for me over the summer working at Ace Hardware, only items that have been "pre-assembled" are the little bull**** bistro sets, and those are just folding chairs and a table.
Buying dirt/mulch/fertilizer? If a bag was damaged when unloading the pallet/on the way to the store, we just write it off and let it sit next to it all. Ask politely to the manager/salesman and most likely, if you really want, you'll get the broken bags (usually 2/3 of a full nag) thrown in with the good ones for free.***Viking Crew***

Current Job: Intel work in Afghanistan, sooo.....
Previous Job: Porter at an Audi dealership.
1) The service writers work on commission. So if you're ever wondering why your spark plug replacement turned into a $2500+ bill for random crap wrong with your car, it's because each service writer has their pet mechanic and they work together to inflate tickets. Especially if you drive up in a $140,000 Audi RS8.
2) Mechanics aren't exactly "nice" to your car when they "test drive" it.
3) Mechanics get paid a base hourly commission for each specific job performed. So say your brake job is billed for 12 hours and it only takes the mechanic 2 hours to do; you still pay for 12 hours.|| MFC || C7 Crew || Trance & Techno Crew ||

Work at a Crab House
-Any steamed shrimp or crabs that you dont eat go back into the steam room and will be served to someone else
-The crabs are actually cooked when we first get them and are only heated up in a steam pot when we need them
-sometimes the crabs you order have been sitting in the pot for 4+ hours
-Your "steamed" shrimp are actually just heated up in a big vat of water that has been sitting around for 8+ hours
-people dip and smoke in the steam rooms and not a single fuk is given
-PRO TIP: its a waste of money to spend the extra $ on medium (#1) crabs instead of getting the smaller ones. (you'll get more out of a bushel of small crabs than you will mediums and spend a considerable amount less)
-and dont complain about the food......things will only get worse

Pro tip for when getting your oil changed- dont go to a shady looking place (you should know what I mean), as they normally have 10w30 (cheapest oil, does not have to be to a specific spec like 5w20/30) in their tanks. Happens a lot more than people think.
Other tip- watch where they pull the hose from to fill your car with. Some places will grab the cheaper oil even if you pay for the more expensive stuff, just watch them.
I do not work at an oil change company, but an oil company that delivers oil to many quick lubes and dealerships.

"People ask the question... what's a RocknRolla? And I tell 'em - it's not about drums, drugs, and hospital drips, oh no. There's more there than that, my friend. We all like a bit of the good life - some the money, some the drugs, other the sex game, the glamour, or the fame. But a RocknRolla, oh, he's different. Why? Because a real RocknRolla wants the ****ing lot."

75% of ALL buildings built after 2009 were built at a general loss or at margin.
ANY and ALL cost cutting measures were used to put these structures up.
Think about it if you live in areas that are often hit by natural disasters etc.
[IE. Earthquakes, hurricanes]
What you do on your computer, cell phone etc is RECORDED, ARCHIVED and sometimes reviewed and OBSERVED.
**********Deleting things off your computer doesn't actually do much. It takes about 2 seconds with the right programs and the know how to recall EVERYTHING.******
So when you take your computer to a repair shop and delete your "HIDDEN STASH" or "INTIMATE PICTURES it may just end up on the INTERNET.***************************Last edited by 411hounddog; 05-03-2011 at 07:03 AM.

I've been in the shipping industry for 10+ years, the UPS statement is true for every shipping company lol. The statement about mechanics is mostly true. My father owned a bodyshop for many years and rarely had repeat customers because he would show them how to do the maintenance/small repairs themselves. Home mechanic brah's could find this site pretty useful http://www.alldatadiy.com/
LMAO @ this^ where i work there is a thermostat on every wall in every room, but none of them actually work, or are even hooked up. I see people changing that sh!t all the time and swear it feel better in that area lol.
You work for usps brah?
I always over tip the valet guys, so when i pull up in my average sedan and i give you $15 when i check in and when i check out, what are you guys thinking? I'm always really nice to everyone in the service industries because i know how thankless our jobs are.
Sh!t makes me rage hard. If i'm in line and I see you mistreating an employee like that i'm going to get right up in your business and do everything i can to make the aggressor back off or storm out of there. I'll usually go the extra step and ask to speak to a manager to make sure the cashier doesn't get sh!t for the incident.
I hate people that think that because they're a customer that they're the boss. That's being a bad customer. I take pride in the fact that i'm a good customer. People that work at the places i shop know and like me because i give credit where credit is due. I notice when i get good service and i'm one of those guys that will hand write a letter to your boss and your boss' boss to let them know that you did a good job. I just wrote a letter to the hospital where I recently had a surgery performed and really had nothing but great things to say about every employee i had to interact with.
Regarding my job, i can't say specifically where i work. I can say that i am in the admissions process for a certain type of school, and there is a crew on the misc that successfully completed the schooling and the members of this crew have provided helpful information to other miscers for quite a while.
Here are tips for those trying to get into these types (specialized/specific) of schools:
1. Never EVER have your parents call anyone for you. Confidentiality laws are in place for a reason and most places, like mine, don't care if you are sitting right next to your parents, uncles/aunts etc. We won't talk to anyone about your information besides you, don't b!tch, it's for your protection, and you should be mature enough to handle this on your own. If not then you shouldn't be trying to get into schools like these. 100% SRS
2.We never sell or release your information, period. It's against the law. One of the most important things in my company is our data retention schedule. We don't keep anything even 1 day after the date we are supposed to destroy it, so if you call 5 years from now and we say that we no longer have that information it isn't because we hate you, it's because of laws that were put in place to protect you.
This last one goes to EVERYONE
3.Anytime you send any kind of mail anywhere, get a name or department name, or even a mail stop code and include it on the address. Why spend $75 to have a package delivered before 8am and not address it properly? Guess what, packages like that going to a lot of companies end up getting put off until the end of the day, or at least until all of the good (properly addressed) mail is done.
This thread is awesome, but i'm wondering how many people posted in this thread that probably shouldn't have lol.*** Misc CIGAR Crew ***
