Nice benching big guy. Those numbers will keep goin up.'
Question-Do you bench like a powerlifter? Arching and using leg drive.. Or are you laying flat, flaring your elbows like a BBer.

I agree Chef. I actually ate a little more now but just still applying some JOH priciples (low fats intake for the most part) and enjoying the strength gains and no more feeling of physical stress on my body.
Damn, that feel man...that was nuts and I wasn't even going full blown contest prepping.
I'm gunning for it I have to keep staying on the course though and not rush it too much. That was my problem in the past that only gets me ended up injured.
Yessir BFF, I'm just enjoying the rebound and taking advantage of the extra cals I'm consuming.
Mine is about an hour bro
Also you know how I know that I live out in the boonies?
When everyone in my wifey's ******** friend's page are posting about snakes...Damn, so many snakes out this year. I see them most of the time now out on a side of a country road.
Just last night, her cousin took a pic of a "chicken snake" hanging on the wall of the chicken coop...just chillin there.
BRB sharpening my "hoe", Imma kill them bastards when I see one around.
Thanks man....PR is way out of the equation yet. My PR is 415X2 that I did 10 years ago.
Great question bro, I lift more of a powerlifter style now on flat benching for the purpose of saving my elbows. Yes arched back and use a little leg drive.
I will never bench BBer style again since it was putting alot of elbow pain (especially on my left one) and I noticed more tension on my front delts and possible RC stress.
Do not want that when pushing 300+.
Thanks bro will keep pushing on and perseveringCONQUERING BARBELL

I hate snakes too man especially those Cottonmouths.
I mean I would touch a garden type snake at the zoo or a pet shop, but no way in hell out on the wild.
Quick story: my grandpa back in the day captured a cobra, yes a damn cobra when we we're living in the Philippines. He had also heard a superstition back then that if you have a snake in the house that they bring good luck...Let's just say the damn thing grew big and my grandma told him to get rid of it. He had it living in a large old school mason jar/jug with a metal lid lolCONQUERING BARBELL

Nice benching Audie. How much did you weigh when you hit that 415x2? Did you ever post progress pics for the end of your cut?

Oh yeah really enjoying 5/3/1 bro
Thanks papa
You still beasting weights man despite lack of sleep. Keep hanging in there brother.
Yes I did, you can see final progress pics in my bodyspace bro.
I weighed in at 230-235 when I hit 415X2 when I was in college. I was doing some sort of powerlifting routine then (aka just lift as heavy as I can). That same year I was playing rugby and was nicknamed "The Bull".
The funny thing is, I never used pre-workout then. I was even kind of broke so I didn't even take whey protein as I cannot afford supps then. If I knew about bb.com I would have joined like back in '99.
EDIT: I apologize for the Potato Engrish I'm in a hurry today. Got a deadline to make for this project I'm working on.CONQUERING BARBELL

Have a fun time tomorrow on your anniversary bro!
Just leave a rep or two on that last 5/3/1 set. You'll need your back for all that walking around at the water park
Also, 415x2 is beastly!Last edited by KenshinH; 05-28-2013 at 10:16 PM.
