I don't have any veins sticking out besides like 2-3 on my wrist. Even at 11% BF I don't get any bicep vein or anything.
Does it mean anything like bad cardiovascular system? Or is it good? Or is it absolutely meaningless? And can you get bigger veins?

VEINS - do they mean anything/
Is it wrong to love a being who cannot see? Such belief is the highest faculty a human being can develop.

Not necessarily, and usually not for superficial veins.
HOWEVER, in the case of portal veins (which carry blood between organs), it has been proven to be a symptom of hypertension:
The CT appearance of the inferior mesenteric vein (IMV) was studied. It can best be identified by its location behind or to the left of the duodenojejunal flexure. Superiorly, it drains into either the splenic vein, superior mesenteric vein, or the splenoportal junction. Inferiorly, it continues to the left of the fourth stage of the duodenum, lying in the left anterior pararenal space. Occasionally, the left colic vein is seen draining into the IMV. In 14 normal cases the diameter of the IMV, measured behind or to the left of the duodenojejunal flexure, was 3-6 mm with a mean of 3.9 mm and a standard deviation of 0.83 mm. In a case of portal hypertension it measured 9 mm. Thus, the IMV can be used to suggest portal hypertension.Bodybuilding is 60% training and 50% diet. Yes that adds up to 110%, because that's what you should be giving it. Change the inside, and the physique will follow.

Hydration levels can increase the appearence of vascularity. This however, is coupled with BF%.
There are some drugs currently on the market, as well as herb/natural supplments that boast increased capulary growth and density. It would stand to reason if these worked, they would incease visual vascularity for the BB type indivdual.
I supose as well particular types of training geared towards causing extreme, prolonged blood flow to an area of the body, over time, it would cause the body to increase the size/density of the circulation in the area.Last edited by Josiah; 04-20-2007 at 04:35 PM.

If what I see does not amaze me, I am not looking hard enough.
The more you learn, the more you realize you don't know.
