    Rittenhouse preparing to sue

I hope he sues them all out of business.

    https://townhall.com/tipsheet/julior...house-n2603594

Kyle Rittenhouse told Tucker Carlson on Monday he plans on suing people in the media and he will use a new organization he created to do so and will provide legal help to others who find themselves in a similar situation relating to defamation.

Rittenhouse was falsely accused of being a white supremacist and murdering two people during the 2020 BLM riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Even after the trial, where he was found not guilty and evidence clearly showed he was attacked first in each case he fired his AR-15, some within the media still claimed he is a murderer. Some still falsely claimed Rittenhouse brought the AR-15 over state lines and was dropped off by his mother.

"Me and my team have decided to launch the media accountability project as a tool to help fundraise and hold the media accountable for the lies they said and deal with them in court," Rittenhouse said.

"I have to ask a dumb question – why isn’t there a group like this that exists already? The media are participants in the news, why hasn’t someone done this before?" Carlson asked.

"That is a good question, Tucker. I’m not sure, to be honest. But I don’t want to see anybody else have to deal with what I went through. So I want to hold them accountable for what they did to me because I don’t want to see anybody have to go through what I had to," Rittenhouse replied.

Carlson then asked if Rittenhouse and his team have anyone in mind for who they are going to sue.

"Right now we are looking at quite a few politicians, celebrities, athletes, Whoopi Goldberg is on the list. She called me a murderer after I was acquitted by a jury of my peers. She went on to still say that, and there’s others, don’t forget about Cenk [Uyhur] from the Young Turks — they continue to call me a murderer," Rittenhouse said.

Good. Most of my circle (irl and social media) is left leaning (as am I) and/or very "anti-racism" and whatever opposition to the verdict I saw on social media didn't really say anything of substance such as how and why they think he was guilty... just a lot of hoopla like "yeah but why bring a gun to a place like that?". I purposely stay ignorant of current events so I knew absolutely nothing of any of the details of the story.Which means I had nothing to tell me if he may or may not have been guilty. I'm one of the few liberals who want to make sure that I'm right before I accuse someone of bigotry (especially something like bigotry-motivated second degree murder) and if I still had the mental energy to try and question people's questionable assertions, I totally know what exactly I'd say and what line of questioning I can take.

Even on a broader level, I think the overall message of BLM is correct but there are so many holes in some of their talking points.

One friend posted some text-based meme that said "not following a cop's orders doesn't mean you deserve to be shot"
I commented w/a pretty logical and compassionate explanation showing how the whole idea was fallacious and even showed how a lack of knowledge/experience in law enforcement could disqualify a person from making a "was it racism or self-defense" determination about the situation.... i never got a response from her..

Serious question here, if you truly don't know all the details and nuances regarding the Rittenhouse case how would you say BLM works into his story?

Not even close to Zimmerman. Have you heard Rittenhouse discuss the matter and events of the night since the trial? Dude impressed me in an interview I saw shortly after the trial. Very earnest and articulate young dude. Can't recall with who atm, but I can try to dig it up if you're interested.

Had nothing to do with Floyd, was regarding Jacob Blake who was shot 7 times by the po-po because he fought with them, had a knife and refused to obey any & all commands. Not many who ever professed to being a member of the BLM movement were there, was a lot of out of towners from Milwaukee and elsewhere who thought it would be great fun to burn 1/4 of the city down and get a bunch of free $hit at the same time. Low life scum bags all of them.
