No what i'm saying is 2 weeks ago every single second of the news was covid this, social distancing that, tossing shop owners into jail for opening their salons, everyone screaming about how this virus was going to kill anyone who didn't wear a mask and stay 2 blocks away from everyone else.

Now we can have people on top of each other protesting, rioting, etc and nobody seems to give a $hit about covid. People aren't being arrested for not wearing a mask or gathering in large groups even though 2 weeks ago the cops were busting up birthday parties because of supposedly too many people.

Human beings are, as a general rule, challenged with assessing non-immediate risks. Given that the riots are happening now, and any potential illnesses / deaths are in the future, people will have a tendency to focus on the riots.

That doesn’t make them right (or wrong), but it is the way the mind works.

1) After the first punch the officer on the left doesn't restrain the woman, allowing her to punch again
2) The officer who got punched first time has no guard up and takes a second punch without any blocking (maybe the officer is wiping eye and can't see what's going on??)
3) the officer on the left then punches the woman in the face (after she made the second punch, looks like a glass jaw move?), understandable response for average person, but is that a cop approved restraint technique?

We are cleaner than every single business that you have allowed to open. Most businesses can't handle telling their customers to wear masks and social distance, but we can very easily. We already had sanitation protocol before covid-19. Following CDC guidelines is quite easy for us.
We were shut down on March 15th. We owe rent for April May and now June. Most of us did not get any government funding. Most of us don't want your government funding. We just want to open.
If someone can touch someone else's hair, then I could teach martial arts from 6 feet away. if someone can touch a product at Walmart that's not essential and then put it back, I could teach martial arts from 6 feet away. If someone can sit with a group of seven people at a table to eat lunch, that I could teach martial arts from 6 feet away. If someone can buy liquor, then I can teach martial arts from 6 feet away. At this point, I'm totally lost. I'm at the brink of closing my business.
You haven't even addressed fitness centers or gyms or martial arts schools once. And you call yourself a black belt! Someone demote this guy to white belt.

They both worked security at a club with overlapping shifts, that info was released shortly after the murder. I know nothing about the other stuff you mentioned though.

Martial arts are so different, I mean some are doing lots of Rolling, I can understand that as a risk, but others (like Tang derived, some Karate styles, Taekwondo, etc ) were developed to be able to drill hundreds troops at a time in neat rows all >2 metres apart (as long as sparing not done for now)

Seems crazy to stick that all together. Why can't people say you can train as long as you don't roll on a floor, you keep > 2 metres apart at all times and don't shout/kiai/kihap or whatever you call it, restrictions for now.

Hope your landlord lets you negotiate on rent, if he/she insists on all the money and makes you go bust, he'll have an even bigger loss of rent in the long term

It's not me dude, I read several gym owners stuff on FB. The sad part, my gym owner learned a long time ago training elite athletes is overrated, he saw how strength training saved seniors, hence lots of seniors at our place dead lifting and swing KB's.

The politics are backwards, our gyms save lives, they are NOT dangerous public health places.
