A day early: By request!
Tomorrow night boyos! This is probably one of the most (if not the most) anticipated event of the year so far.
Main event is Jones vs. Santos. Santos can throw hands, but I don't have any doubt that Jones is too smart and just too good. Then again, as I've sad a thousand times around here, just when the community starts to get to the point where it's an outright assumption that a fighter will win, that's when crazy chit happens. That's why we hold fights. We'll see tomorrow night.
Then there's Nunes, who's being billed as the best female MMA fighter in the history of the sport. She's taking on Holly Holm, who is also a bit under-rated going into this fight. While I think it's right that she's an underdog, I don't think this is some squash match. Holly is a tough out for anybody. If Nunes makes it look easy, I'll be really impressed. Look for Holly to try to get this fight into the championship rounds counting on Amanda to fade. She's done it before, though it was a number of years ago.
Then there's the fight I'm most anticipating. I just wish it was a five-round fight. Masvidal vs. Askren. Not much to say besides: Masvidal is going to want to keep it standing and Askren is going to want to take him down. Classic matchup and Askren is such a character than people are either dying to see him get his ass kicked or rooting for him. I don't care either way. I'm a big fan of both guys.
There are just a ton of good fighters on the card.
Luke Rockhold makes his UFC LHW debut.
Chiesa vs. Sanchez.
Gilbert Melende on the comeback trail. It's been a while, and he's on a four-fight loss streak. Let's see if he can get back on the winning track.

Probably a toss up for me between 238 and 239 for most anticipated but its close.
Interested to see how Rockhold does stepping up a division, although I don't like him, he could add something exciting into what I feel is a stale division if he wins.
It would also be nice to see a big upset for Santos but I'm putting a pretty slim chance on that.
I agree Holm should be the underdog in this fight but no way should it be a forgone conclusion that she will lose. I truly think Holm matches up well in this and could easily come away the winner with a good gameplanIt's not your beliefs that make you a better person, it's your behavior.

Every fight on the main card has the potential to be great.
Masivdal/Askren is the people's main event. Masvidal is the epitome of a real fighter, I'd love to see him keep progressing. I don't like Askren's style (even though it's very impressive), but him vs Usman or Colby would be interesting.
I don't watch many events anymore, staying up until 6am to watch watered down cards became too much effort, but I can't wait for this chit.
Picks:
Jones
Nunes
Askren
Rockhold
Chiesa

Jon
Amanda
Luke
Ben I was impressed with his toughness and after his ufc fight I YouTubed his other fights and his style is so unique I think unlike any elite level mma wrestler I ever saw? I want to see more of it because we’ll its kind of like Mia bjj except different. Makes me reAlly appreciate the grappling styles of fighting. Yeah I hope he wins.BLM (Brock Lesnar Matters)

Santos as a +450 underdog, throwing down on that. I think the fight ends Santos via KO or Jones via sub (much more likely). I think the under is a smart bet for the main event.
Anyone else think that Masvidal is gonna beat Askren's ass?"They'll tell you failure is not an option. That is ridiculous. Failure is always an option. Failure is the most readily available option at all times, but it's a choice. You can choose to fail or you can choose to succeed. But failure is always there, and it's okay to recognize that."- Chael P. Sonnen

Main event is terrible. It will be like Jones' last 2 fights; after it's over you'll ask yourself what was the point
I am excited about the Luke fight though. That's a pretty tough fight to call. You would think Luke has a pretty good chance but at the same time I wouldn't be surprised at all if he gets blitzed and with all the chit he's been talking that would be a classic Luke loss
Askren and Mazvidal will be ok
