I started at 130lb, it took me 9 years to get to 200, suffered a few serious shoulder injuries along the way, got triceps tendinitis once, fuked my knees up a bit, suffered one or two back injures, probably about a year and a half total injury time throughout the years. Bounced back stronger after every injury though. I've been blessed with good genetics in terms of proportion and having an ultra fast metabolism that leaves me no choice but to be lean all year round but it's been the definition of hardgaining and persistence + progressive overload were two main contributing factors.***Canadian Crew***

Ive definitely got good genetics and not everyone can replicate my physique but im natty and i am proof that with good genes you can achieve a worthwhile physique unassisted. It just takes more work and patience.
No i was 165 there. Im 200 at about 17% ive been at it for 8 years though, lean ive been 173 so im hoping to sit around 180-185 at 10% when I'm done cutting back down.

sure, but good genes unfortunately are predetermined, feelsbadman
If I remember correctly, u were a fatso long before ? So there is hope that not only super lean people ( who start their bbing lean and stay lean easily) are those with good genes ? Side question, how do u control appetite and suppress your past habits (assuming I remember correctly)communist until you get rich
rightwing until financially secure
atheist until the plane starts falling
slootist until you get married
muslim after you get married

Yeah im a former fat kid I just stay disciplined and i stick to a diet i enjoy. I love food so im not eating bland foods and i learned how to cook. It removed the need to cheat and wreck my diet. When cutting i drink a lot of zero carb rockstars or take an ec stack and that really helps. A lot of fat people have potential and theyre generally pretty robust they just never put in the work to overcome.bad habits and maximize their genetic potential. Skinny people just have an easier starting point on the surface because they see their gains right away but generally i dont see those people get nearly as big as someone with a naturally bigger frame and muscular set point without teching.

Coming from someone just like you (same height and natty; difference is I've been at this for 13 years), here's my take on the subject. Although I've quoted you, this message goes out to everyone.
I've never felt big in my life, but I've accepted I am, from the people around me telling me the fact; does that make sense?
Follow me on this, cause writing it out is confusing as ****..
I can and often find myself looking at someone, who to somebody else looks big, but in my eyes they are smaller than me. However, if you were to ask me do I think im bigger than said person, I would honestly say no; despite in the eyes of the 3rd party, im much bigger than them.
I guess I have typical body dismorphia but it doesn't bother me srs. In some ways, I think it keeps me humble and grounded. I would srsly hate knowing I'm big, but accepting it isn't the same. We all know somebody that trains in the gym that thinks they are hot ****. I can pretty much promise myself I will never be like that, heck I honestly think I wasn't made that way.
Just edited this post once more, its ****ing hard to accurately explain my position.Last edited by Fapadrol; 02-15-2018 at 07:06 PM.
