Injured while in a caloric deficit

Yesterday was trying some muscle ups and felt a 'crack' in my right shoulder before doing the pull up, which hurt really bad. So I think it is the rotator cuff which is hurting , specially teres minor and infra spinatus. The think is Im going to stop swimming, doing shoulder work and everything that puts my shoulders above head for about 1-2 weeks. Im cutting since March and im currently at 2200 calories. I want to keep training (legs, core, arms) and do other type of cardio (stairs running) which burns less calories than swimming, how should I change the diet? I was thinking of a diet break since I didn't do one since I started this cut.
    Thanks in advance

I always take a break when I get injured, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea to be honest. I tend to break from the diet for too long, and let go too much.

IMO eat at maintenance and rest your shoulder. Go see a doctor about it too.
