We live in a "global" world. With our current technology we can talk to anyone on this planet, either face to face with modern traveling or via digital means. Business are done world wide, what happens in a side of the earth resonates in the other. So why are we still being ruled by imaginary lines drawn arbitrarily by men who died centuries ago?

How would policies change if instead of having isolated groups of people saying ok this may be the best for this tiny bit of land and those who were randomly born here instead of saying OK how do we manage this globe so EVERYONE benefits?

I honestly see the thought of borders disappearing in the next 100-200 years. Just look at Europe and their current demographic troubles, the young ere getting old and the old are living so long that by the time the young reach retirement age there will be no young people to support them, they will simply die off and disappear. That's when the concept of open borders comes in handy, open the borders and let young able bodied men and women come in and boost those numbers up.
