My little brother, who is in 8th grade, wrote a note saying "I am going to stab you and it won't be a crime." The teachers found out somehow and reported it to the principal. This morning, a package came in that was ordered by my brother. This was what was inside:
This thing looks like a mask a school shooter or burglar would use. My brother came home and we confronted him about all of this. He starts to make up a **** ton of BS on the spot about how the note was part of a "rap battle" contest he was having. I questioned him as to why that particular note was the only lyric written, and he said there was more but that was the only lyric that caused problems. When asked about the burglar mask, he said "Oh, I ordered that for halloween but it came late." My parents are not tech savvy so they asked me to check his phone to see if anything was up. His texts were clean, nothing seemed strange. However, I looked at his eBay account and it said the sale date for the mask was November 14th.
Obviously, he was lying about his intentions for buying the mask. After telling him he was lying, his story started to become all messy and he was vehemently claiming that he was not lying. Then, he started saying he just bought the mask because he "thought it was cool." I looked at his recently viewed list on eBay and found that he was looking at lock pickers and **** that would help someone break in a house. His claim for doing this was that "he thinks those things are cool" and that "It's just one of my interests."
Clearly, he was probably trying to conceal some nefarious plan. I am very suspicious of him but my parents let him off the hook. I'm scared for my life.
Some background information about my bro:
He has a history of lying and stealing. He stole over $500 from my room when I wasn't home before. Stole $200 from my mother, stole a credit card and used that. He has an obsession with bows & arrows and knives, and owns a large knife in his room. It was given to him as a gift by my uncle. Thankfully, we took all weapons away from his room.

the note...i don't think carries much weight or is anything to be concerned with, but you never know...I'd monitor him more closely and let your parents know it's no joke. Real question is....does he murder animals? srs
