Anyone here is able to clean bulk without loosing their abs?

    Hey everyone

The avatar of me is like before i started my clean bulk lol. Lost them abs

I have put on about 3kg, think half of that is just belly fat

Seems to me I always find I dont gain any size without eating enough to gain a bit of fat on my belly

I have tried just increasing by small amount of calories but did not gain any size untill I start to eat enough that also puts on fat

    sucks hey.................

Will do another quick cut in Jan I guess

How long have you been training and how much did you weight 3 months ago?

I think I have reached a point were it is bloody hard to gain just lean muscle now if not any new muscle ( naturally lol )

Lol im still under a year of training, so maybe that's what causedd me to still be "lean".

Have you tried reducing your surplus?

+Some people store fat differently. Maybe yours just stores in The abs region.

I could if I kept the surplus at like 200 cal, but lifes to short for that. I like a 500 cal + surplus, good muscle gain, good strength, you loose your abs and who gives a fuk. Its winter, no one see's them until summer so worry about that later with a strong cut

I eat so much my abs disappeared by the 3rd meal anyways, so it didn't matter to me.. as long as my gut is flat, I don't have any overhang, and I'm getting bigger, Idgaf.. but gains are coming super slow now.. dem feels.

I don't ever try to keep abs while bulking, it's too painful of a process and i think will inhibit real muscle gain. You're so worried about not going too far in to a surplus, you don't maximize your bulk.

My initial bulk was +33lbs in 10 months and I was able to maintain visibility throughout the process.

At this point I no longer care.

A lean bulk in my mind is BS.

I just balance my caloric intake to my estimated caloric requirements to add muscle mass in a tolerance range of body fat.
The upper level of body fat is 12% which still allows the abs to show.

I think a majority of guys attempting some lean bulk physiques lack muscle belly development.
Just do a front lat spread and if the V taper is missing that show a lack of muscle belly development.
    Their pecs lack thickness.

They are confusing having low subcutaneous fat to show a six abs as being muscular with fully developed muscular bellies. The latter takes time to develop. The former only requires a misconception of being muscular.
How can you visualize training a muscle if you don't know its structure?

Its a big mental game also. Most people like to see "instant" progress or they get discouraged. So bulk/cut helps with that. Slow bulk while keeping abs is like watching a plant grow.
