On the bottle of Con-Cret it says to take 30-45 minutes prior to working out. But on other sites and youtube videos people say to take post work out. Help?

Honestly man it's up to you. You could experiment with both (doing only pre and another of pre and post) at different time periods to see what works better with your body.

Combination of research and trying it for myself. Creatine hydrochloride is creatine bound with hydrochloric acid. It’s turned into a basic creatine molecule by stomach acid and no research has yet proven it to be any more effective than monohydrate. Like other forms of creatine, creatine HCL may be more water soluble than monohydrate, but this has no effect on absorption. Therefore since you are taking a smaller dose, pretty much the size of a pea, you're getting maybe 1g of creatine at most, while I like to take 5g mono a day, my experience on creatine hydrochloride, nitrate, malate, etc. has been rather ****ty, rendering little to no gains as apposed to taking monohydrate, plus it is usually more expensive per serving too.
I'm not saying that it doesn't work, just the amount you are taking per serving is far too little to hinder any sort of noticeable gains whatsoever, if they didn't have the "micro dosing" it would most likely perform the same way as a monohydrate would.Last edited by Jonyothan; 05-16-2014 at 04:42 AM.
