Can't seem to build chest no matter what I do (pics)

So, I come to you all very frustrated. The pic I've attached pretty much says it all. The photo on the left is December 15th, 2012. The photo on the right is today. I've been in the gym 4-6 days a week for exactly a year now...and as you can see, my chest just doesn't budge. I work chest twice a week, and my workouts are always changing. Exercises range from bench press to flyes to pushups to cable press and everything else I can think of. Although I've lost a huge percentage of body fat over the last year due to changing my diet, I just can't seem to make my chest do much of anything. I've seen guys who have 8-10 month transformations and their chest looks AMAZING. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I held off for a long time posting here, mostly because a lot of people here are overly critical or sarcastic rather than in any way helpful...but I suppose my desperation has reached its peak. If anyone has any advice at all, it would be very much appreciated. Doesn't seem to matter whether I'm eating 1500-2000 calories a day, or 3500-4000 calories a day...my chest is just plain stubborn. Thanks in advance for any actual helpful comments.

Stick with a bulk for a year. Simple as not many people who weight 170 have huge chests(nonless very lean).

And Ps you look like you lost alot of fat so you are on the right path dont be so down on yourself.

You really need to evaluate your training. If you say you're eating at a surplus you're not training correctly. Check the stickies for a new program.

Thank you both very much for the comments. I appreciate the motivation too. Guess I just have to keep plugging away at it. Seems like a constant battle with my genetics, but I guess it will pay off eventually.

Your post indicates a couple of things to consider.

Don't constantly change exercises. Muscle confusion isn't real. Find a few chest exercises you like which hit the appropriate musculature and train it.

You've lost weight. You can't reasonably expect your chest to grow when you lose weight. Any transformation that indicates otherwise either

    1) had the guy have a lot of muscle mass in the beginning, and then lose fat, revealing the muscle and making it look bigger

    2) involve copious amounts of drugs

    3) lie about the time frame

For me it's been the 5x5 ramping up weight that has helped me out twice a week that's all I do 10 sets of 5 a week .
