    Is cardio even necessary when losing fat?

    Personally I don't like cardio too much but I do like lifting. Is cardio even necessary when cutting? Can't you simply eat at a deficit, lift weights three to four days a week and that's it?

    No, it's not necessary. It's good for your overall well bring but not necessary if eating in a deficit.

    A calorie deficit is all you need. Hitting weights burns a significant amount of calories too. Cardio does suck!

    I like to simply walk my dog or take my little sister to the park. Not necessarily ride on a treadmill for an hour.

    nope , to lose weight all you need is a calorie deflict i.e eat 300 calories below your tdee to find out your tdee use a site like fitness frog , eat 300 below that if your going to do some sort of exercise lift weights

    No it's not necessary. But it can slightly speed up your cut, by burning extra calories from doing it (not a significant difference, but still something).
