It's 2013 here people. The benefit to risk ratio of deadlifts is proven not worth it. If you want a one way ticket to snap city go right ahead, more gains for me.

I don't see what is wrong with them with good form and not "ego" lifting. Picking up heavy things is fun, doing hyperextensions is not.

The art of deadlifting can be traced all the way back to 26 AD when the great son of Zuse, brodur of hurculies and fadur of astetics deed deadlifts. Do not diss such an ancient artform.

never got into the whole deadlifting phase. i respect squats a LOT more.
i am much, much more impressed by someone squatting 315 than by someone deadlifting 400+. i see people claim they can deadlift insane numbers all the time, squat not so much.
people stop phucking around when the weights over their neck imo. a lot of people exaggerate and cheat their deadlift numbers, because it's not like they might actually die if something goes wrong.
the squat is the true king of all weight lifting exercises.

Is the pope catholic? Of course people still deadlift. It's the one lift I look forward to the most.

been off lifting almost 2 weeks and out of work for a week after pinching a nerve in my lower back deadlifting..
one I'm healed up I'm going right back to doing them. I'm done maxing out though, at least for awhile.
can't not see them part of my back day. But to each their ownRed Sox 2013
