What he means is that there's no right answer to this. Any protein powder's just as good as the others; from the very expensive Optimum Nutrition Hydrobuilder to (among) the cheapest Dymatize Elite.
What matters most is your diet when cutting. You need to be in a caloric deficit. If you're not in one, then taking any protein will yield the same results (not losing body fat). The inverse is also the same, if you're bulking and you're not in a caloric surplus then taking any protein will yield the same results (not gaining mass).

Hey, I'm a newbie to this world so I'm sorry if I broke some etiquette thing. I am following Jamie Eason's LiveFit Trainer and she says that protein powers do not all contain branched chain amino acids specifically. I am in love with my Nutrilite supplements and what I said was not a "plug..." just sharing something I learned recently from a program here on bodybuilding.com

You read it wrong or it is flat out wrong. All protein is made up of amino acids including Leucine, Valine and Isoleucine. Many don't add additional free-form aminos because they don't want to be called on pumping up with label "protein" with free-form aminos when there are plenty in the protein itself.
Why it's a terrible purchase:
1) Amway
2) Beyond overpriced, even for isolate which is completely unnecessary unless you're lactose intolerant.
3) Main competitive comparison is Herbal Life, lol
If you like spending $77 for a kilo of protein powder, then have at it. It is by no means "good" from a pricing standpoint and not "better" than anything from a protein standpoint.

yeah I hear you man. due to the amount I spend on their laundry detergent for me and my kid (it's seriously the only stuff that gets the smell 100% out of my gym clothes) I thought about becoming one of their "people/owners" whatever you call it I don't even know just for the discount. I don't think i buy enough of their stuff to make it worth it though.
The only other thing that enitices me from the nutrilite brand is the double x vitamins. Unless I get it for the indedpent owners price though it's too pricey for me at like $80 lol

Even if you wanted to start your own business to save money on nutrilite products, it would save you over 30% of all nutrilite products, not to mention discounts to countless stores like Apple, Starbucks, sports authority, best buy, etc. and you dont have to sell anything.... It makes me sad that you put a bad name on all business owners that work with Amway

Since when did Amway give discounts to those stores? ._. My mom does Amway and SHE HAS NEVER brought up anything in terms of discounts at Apple, Starbucks or anything of the sort. So don't go around telling people false information. If you want to promote Amway in the right light, you have to be honest with stuff like that.
I am not with Amway, I just want to say that now, my mom is. The problem with Amway HERE in America is that people are greedy so all they do is just pound others for the money. The most successful IBO from Amway is an old couple from Taiwan who have been in business for 30 years. To me, Amway is NOT a scam, its how people who join Amway try to sell Amway's products. But I won't do Amway because I hate the idea of marketing in general.
Personally I have seen benefits from Amway's products as I decided to give it a try since my mom got some good results on it. So whatever. But thats going off topic. Keep information in perspective and don't mess with people's minds.

it's all about calories...but training intensity certainly helps, imo.... get yourself a good tracker app and plug in your current stats, goals, and whatever else it wants...I like MyFitnessPal. but use whatever you like. it's not perfect but you get a decent ballpark figure and something to shoot for. I also utilize the BB.com Bodyspace app to keep track of workouts and progress.Dad
