Tips for staying committed and motivated?

Basically, I;'m an overweight 17 year old guy trying to lose 25-30 lbs. I have low self-esteem, my family treats me like absolute sh*t, and I despise being fat. I really want to change and lean out and slim down, but I cant seem to stay committed to my workout program and diet, I end up skipping, or eating junk food. I haven't seen any results from doing this. I really wanna change, but I keep thinking I'll never do it, and always stay fat. I basically think that it;s impossible for me. I have no support from anyone about this, tips for staying committed and motivated? My own family is already hating on me, how do I continue my transformation?

Take a pic of what you look like now, start working out and eating properly and then take another pic in a few weeks time. Compare the two, then crack on and get **** done as you'll start to see results.

BTW, meant in the nicest way possible, but F*ck your family. You change for you, not for haters..feck em they can suck your muscley balls when you're a beast!

I don't know how else to tell you this, but either you want it, or you don't. Lasting motivation has to come from within. Smile and nod at the naysayers and move forward.

    ^This.

It might help to think of your diet and routine as a job. That's how I've taken it and I don't miss a day at the gym. Not only because I think it's necessary, but I actually enjoy the time I'm at the gym pushing myself.

Make believe it's your job. You wouldn't miss your job, cause you'd get fired.
