Ok so i've been seeing alot of things saying that full body splits are the best way to pack on mass, and that old school body builders such as Steve Reeves are built off of this?
I would like some factual evidence or help or w.e, like if this is true? and why? or even why not, i do know a fair bit already about why but i've seen a couple conflicting sources so yeaaaaaaaaaaaah.

High frequency, low volume, high intensity, can work great for a beginner when loads aren't as heavy yet.
Most people switch to a UB/LB split, or normal split after a while, because they want to focus on their weak parts etcetera
Its hard trying to focus on individual bodyparts when going fullbody each time
