why don't gyms sell supplements?

Many large chains and small independent gyms have small supp shops in the front. Also, often times there is a supplement shop right next to (within a few blocks of) populated gyms.

My old gym did. Problem is, the stuff was so marked up due to being the 3rd piece in the chain of supply, made more financial sense for me to buy online.

Some do but IMO they limit their sales for several reasons.

1. Unless they allow customers to come in and purchase supps without having a gym membership they are limiting their sales.

2. They normally dont advertise that they carry supps.

3. Their prices are usually way too high.

yea most places sell RTD's from ABB which are pricey if you use them everyday

I go to a 24 Hour Fitness Super Sport where they sell supplements. Most times, it's cheaper to buy online. However, there are certainly times when my gym has great sales. Just the other day, I got 30% off a 2 lbs. tub of Monster Milk.

Most of the time the prices aren't worth it and the selection isn't that great either.
Though sometimes you can catch a sale and get an ok price.

they do sell them but most they overcharge its like a gnc lol....like one time my gym put 50% off gold standard whey 5lb tub now only 47 dollars or 49 im like ughhhhh i can get that all the time at bb.com lol

Some gyms do sell about 1 serving of a supplement.
But overall, it will be overpriced due to the fact they want to make a profit.
