    anybody have ANY idea how thick it is?

    I didn't know such a thing existed...but it would be at least as thick as two of the 45's. FWIW..check out the crossfit boards equipment area and seach on troy bumpers. Some interesting experiences have been reported.

    Some quick googling identifies that the guy responsible for writing those descriptions may be confused. From what I can tell, Troy makes a 100 lb. iron plate but not a 100 lb. bumper.

    Ivanko makes a 100 lb. bumper but be prepared to shell out some major cash.

    seriously? so troy doesnt actually sell 100lb bumpers? source of this info?
