The last few weeks of the Bill Starr 5x5 have been difficult. I feel like I still have room to go on squats, but bench and incline are getting difficult.

That and this cut I am on (24 lbs in 7 weeks) has me in a green mood.

It is a 10 week spreadsheet. The first 4 weeks (or so) seem rediculously easy. Then it starts to get heavy and tough.

what did you use for your 5RM's skippy?

I was probably light on my 5RMs that I entered, just because it was my first time through the program and I had not actually determined my 5RMs on any lifts.

Prior to this program I did mostly 10 reps on my lifts, so going to 5 was a big change.

good stuff brah. keep it up. Have never tried a specific program. I just lift using one exercise with each body part 2x a week. To each their own.

TBH I actually enjoy the squats 3 times a week. Wednesay is a light squat day and it helps mentally. Prior to this program I did a body part split with legs on Friday and I was always sore for 2 or 3 days. Yet with this program (squats on M, W, F) I am never sore.

Just a word of advice. I can't speak for the other mods but I very rarely will hand out reps to a member who does not have an avi. Just sayin.
