Ive changed my goals alot the past year, changed my approach. Ill never be a hulking monster, Ill never be super strong or crazy athletic - just not in the cards for me. All those unrealistic goals used to weigh heavy on me, Id feel bad about it, get down about not reaching some arbitrary goal I set for myself like wighting x more pounds, or deadlifting x more pounds. constantly comparing myself to other brahs who may (or may not) have been using gear to get ahead.
The key for me now is just to feel good and enjoy life. Part of feeling good is to be physically fit, eat well and try as many new (physically challenging) things as possible. also want to look boss to pick up wh*res (cant lie about that). so I still hit the gym regularly and diet. not a single fukk is given if I get any bigger or stronger from here out. Such a relief when you free yourself from the prison of guilt youve built up over the years.
Been getting into conditioning and cardio alot more. I power through a full weight training workout in 30-40 minutes, very minimal rest. then do cardio till my legs give out. feels good brahs.
Cardio and bench = girls. Squats and deadlifts = ****gy time

When I look in the mirror I want to see something that I'm proud, I want to see the body of a god. Sure girls are a bonus but I lift for that sole reason only. Although every man to his own and I see the appeal/logic of yours.

I started lifting to feel more powerful and have more confidence. This in turn helped me with women. To each his own. It's not as if your only two options are
1) lifting for girls
2) lifting for random guys on the internet.

I'm sorry for enjoying going to the gym, lifting weights and getting bigger and stronger, my bad. It's not 1982 OP, girls don't care about muscles anymore. Apart from abs which you don't even need to work out to achieve. Hell you don't need a gym membership to workout your upperbody really. Go to a jungle gym and do pull ups and dips.
