I'm wondering something.
My gym buddy and I have similar amounts of body fat. He's a bit leaner now though, whereas I have put on more muscle.
Before he started working out he was quite chubby and about four years ago I lost about 25kgs.
What I wonder though is why the last skerrics of belly fat on each of us seem to be stored differently. Its kind of hard to explain, so Ill do my best...
Gym buddy's belly fat seems to be stored in an evenly spread fashion so it's more like a thinnish 'coating' of fat.
Whereas mine is kind of like a 'lip' - if you drew a line from one pelvic bone to the other, it would fall across completely flat flesh. Just above this though the fat seems to collect in that lip of fat.
Is this just two different bodies storing fat differently?
