i no it sounds like a dumb question, but even if i like just ate should i eat if im hungry. my body is telling me it wants more food but whether that excess food will just turn me into a fatass or not. if i didnt need the food would my body not be hungry? or is it just based on the size of ur stomach?

Judging by your looks/stats, yes. You should eat when you're hungry.
For someone completely oblivious to all aspects of nutrition, eating by hunger isn't so simple - what you're eating, etc. can influence hunger.
however, I'm guessing (as you're posting in this section) that you have at least a rough idea of calories/etc. Say you've met what you had as your target, and you're still hungry. Go ahead and have some more. Especially when you're trying to gain muscle.Realize that anyone with an affiliation to a supplement company in their signature has ulterior motives when making recommendations. Anybody else hear some specific ingredients can make you hungry as well? Like hydrogenated oils, for example. That would be the least of the many detriments to that mess of a chemical but...
By always giving in to hunger immediately aren't you conditioning yourself to eat more and more unnecessarily? However, I'm with Rodzilla that if you are trying to gain muscle you have to keep your macros up and eating the right things won't turn you into a fatass. Keep in mind you are hitting the gym which isn't exactly par for the course compared to your average American.I rep back. Do you?

if you're talking about some obvious overeating - that is often is a sign from our bodies that we've been undereating for too long.
as for "giving in" - that sounds like you're restricting your food intake. Try to change your perspective to to "listening to you body". If you're hungry - eat. It doesn't have to be candy and french fries (though there are certainly room for those foods as well) but you need to be fueling your body properly, and if your body is telling you you're hungry - you should listen.Realize that anyone with an affiliation to a supplement company in their signature has ulterior motives when making recommendations. Having been a past sufferer of true dehydration (and boy is it painful), I keep myself rather hydrated throughout the day. This also has the side effect of me never confusing hunger for thirst (which is something a lot of people do).
