G'day on my leg day i do deadlifts, leg press, leg extensions, leg curls, standing calf raises and seated calf raises (in that order). My question is should i be doing squats. Ive heard that squats should be apart of every leg workout but have also heard that doing deadlifts and leg press target the legs the same as squats do. So should i be doing squats?

Deadlifts are meant to work out more of your lower back then your legs. You should have a day just for deadlifts and lower/full back workouts (good mornings, etc). Should not mix back and leg day together since squat and dead lifts can consume a lot of energy.
Leg presses should not be used as a replacement either. Squats are more of a compound lift then leg presses and should definitely be a part of your leg workout.1k+ when asked.

yeah I just added squats to my leg day...
here is my leg day
Squat (First Time today )
sitting Calf Raise
Leg curl
Leg Extension
Leg Press
Standing Calf Raise
well the squats made a huge difference. My legs have been on fire all day. Felt like I worked the piss out of my legs today. I recommend working them in.

I believe that it's all just a matter of preference. I could superset the two if I wanted to gain more mass (I personally wouldn't do that, just saying supersets are geared more towards mass gains). But in my opinion, since I'm favouring strength gains more ATM, I would keep them seperate.
1k+ when asked.

Not doing squats for your leg workout is like having sex without your penis. Do the math. Be smart.
Shut up and squat.Body Stats: Bulking during MOS school. Thanks bootcamp for ruining all my gains! :D

I don't squat but my legs are my best attribute... different variations of deadlifts take emphasis of your back and on your legs.
Squatting is important ofcourse, but at the moment my body is lagging to my legs. So im doing some strategic training Most people have weak legs so squatting is the king.
