Get in this thread and tell me about it. I'm losing my job so I'm just going to pack up and move there.

It isn't.
The economy is ok. Unemployment is lower here than other parts of NC, but it's not great.
Good universities, good tech companies, good hospitals, schools, good standard of living, traffic sucks in rush hour, good beer selection at the right stores, our governor is a c*nt, nightlife is not bad, not too much crime, the Hurricanes suck... ask me something specific.

There is an idea of a Patrick Bateman; some kind of abstraction. But there is no real me: only an entity, something illusory. And though I can hide my cold gaze, and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping yours and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable... I simply am not there.

ehh, dunno if you can really find a decent apt for 600 in raleigh. you cant even really do that here, and im sure the cost of living is a lil more in raleigh. good luck though
EDIT: like the other guy said, look into cary, bout 15 mins away from raleigh depending on exactly where, and somewhat of a nicer city as well. from what ive seen of cary that is

If anyone has any job connections please let me know. I'm in I.T. at my hospital doing helpdesk work now but my associates (and my nearly completed bachelor) is in Business Management. I have retail store management experience. I'm looking for any connections I get cause I'm just going down their and straight up winging it. If I have to work 80 hours a week in fast food I will til I can find something better.
You know man, I will entertain ALL job opportunities at the moment. I'm not afraid of manual labor at all.
