I plan to compete in both the NANBF and the INBF this season. One breaks down by height the other by weight. At 5 9 and a comp weight of around 148 which would be more to my advantage? ...any thoughts?

At my last Nanbf show which was years ago. They stood all the competitors in a line and broke them out Short Med and Tall . Myabe things are different these days. I was in the med at 5'10" @178 competing against guys 5'8" at 148. I mad the guys look tiny but the winner was the shortest and smallest of us all due to his ablility to get super shredded. Less than 3% bodyfat.

First i want to say thanks for your input. Its still the same in the NANBF but i have never competed in the INBF i have never competed aginst guys my weight at 5 9 and 148 im always the smallest of the bunch i can hit the 3% and i havent been lifting long so my mass isnt there yet. Im woundering if it will be more difficult to beat guys my size /weight/ but much shorter. I would think it would be as they would have more mass as long as the BF was were it should be.
maybe ist a dumb question.
