The Most Amazing Oatmeal Recipe:
Packed with protein, carbs, and mono/polyunsaturated fat:
1/2 cup oats
1 cup water
microwave
add: 2 spoonfuls of peanut butter, 2 spoonfuls of cottage cheese, and 1 spoonful of syrup. Stir up and enjoy.
It may sound gross, but it tastes absolutely amazing.Professional Ass Kicker

Usually I have a cup of oats cooked in a pot, then add a sliced banana on top. Mix it all up and let the bananas (fairly ripe) heat up, god it tastes amazing.
Something I haven't had in a while but highly recommend is cooking the oatmeal and then adding 1/2 cup of milk and a scoop of casein (mix casein in after cooking, then add milk) SO Good. Only tried with ON Vanilla Casein, but others might work, tried whey and it just clumps

I just cook it on the stove with milk and a little water, then add milk and cinnamon after its cooked. I have tried nutmeg and that was surprisingly nice too I have heard of people putting egg whites in it...anyone try this? Sounds a bit odd but I had soup the other day at a Chinese restaurant and mom said it was that texture cos of egg whites and I loved it!

Why does everyone use the microwave, stuff tastes better cooked in a pot. (sorry if you don't have access to a stove and that is why) LOL, I actually have a pot that is designated for my oatmeal, my family just calls it Ian's oatmeal pot, and it is often left by my bed for the morning. It does make the best oatmeal though.
BTW, apple, cinnamon go well. And try the casein.
