Any educated person can tell you that there is supporting evidence that homosexuality is affected by both genetics and environment(nature vs. nurture). There is evidence for both sides to the story. Some studies have shown that in identical twins, if one twin is homosexual, then there is a higher chance of homosexuality in the second twin compared to fraternal twins. Also like you said, homosexuality is pretty evident in nature.
