I've gone from 217lbs (mid January 2008) to 185lbs but have been stuck at 185 lbs for at least two weeks. This was while on a standard KD with carbups every two to three weeks with a blip or two along the way (still on it). Strength has gone up consistently in everything and measurements are also changing (chest measurement isn't budging much though) but this plateau seems long.
I get the idea that doing high intensity cardio is not smart on keto... should I just increase "LISS" cardio?
How do I break it? Thanks in advance!

Keto plateau - different from regular plateaus?
1/01/2005 185 lbs 22.5%
1/29/2005 181 lbs 20.5%
6/26/2005 153 lbs 14.7% crap
2/23/2008 ~202 lbs ~21% (crap again!)

You could:
- change your routine if you've been on it a long time
- bump your cardio up if you don't do too much right now
- decrease your cardio (serious)
- bump your calories up (serious again)
- bump your calories down
- add HIIT
- ...
Post how much you eat and how you train (and for how long you've been doing it), would make it easier to help
I was at a plateau for a couple of weeks too, and what broke it is when I started eating more and doing less cardio.
edit: Having more frequent carbups does the trick for some people too I think*** Misc Cigar Crew ***

I've hit a plateau and since time is running short for me (going on vacation, won't be able to eat keto), I'm trying the EC stack. I know supplements aren't for everyone, but I just picked up a 50 pack of caffeine tablets for like $5, and a package of Primatene for $6, so $11 for a week and a half or so isn't bad.

DecemberDays86,
All I can do is add my personal experience with a long plateau on Keto. I lost weight consistently for well over a year. But I did hit a spot where I lost no weight or inches for 3 weeks+
I just took about 10 days off of keto at this point. I didnt use this as a time to go crazy I continued to weigh all my food and eat healthy but right at my maintenance, maybe slightly above. I also didnt lift any weights for this period of time. I used a balance diet of 40-30-30 for this period.
10 days later started keto right back up again.
I gained some water during this time but no fat because I kept track of what I was eating. A few days after I was back in ketosis the water wait was gone and my measurements were back to where I started. From that point on I lost 1-1.5 lbs a week all the way to the end of my cut.
So it worked for me. I decided to try something a little different after a long sticking point.Keto dropped > 125lbs
Currently bulking
