    Question about creatine

When I asked my gym trainer if I should take creatine or not he said he wouldn't advise it because I don't need it right now.
When I asked why, he said that for a person to take creatine he has to drink extra water, more than what you normally drink, which means the kidney has to work extra and that would be exerting it.

Now I know that creatine is a good supplement and that I should take it, but his explanation above got me thinking that it might be true..

    So is it?

    yes

in the same sense that when you eat more food, youre stomach has to work harder processing it

or youre colon has to work harder ****ting it out

or when you think harder, your brain is stressed more

tell him to think about what he says

Partially, you excrete more creatinine. But there is zero reports of anyone having any damage done to kidneys from taking creatine. But really you don't need it. If you want to take it then do it up, nothing bad will happen. Just buy the cheapest kind you can find.
