duelI bought 2 nexus 4's for me and my gf the night it was released (the panic when it was sold out in 5 minutes in australia and awaiting euro launch...)
16gb internal storage - May be a problem if you need to carry over 16gb of entertainment around with you in places where you won't have net access plus don't have an mp3 player. The cloud can be used for when you do have net access. Keep in mind that you can buy a nexus 4 AND an ipod and still spend less money than buying an iphone 5.
Also, if you are going to be away from home for a long enough time that you need more than 16gb of music/movies, then you surely don't have enough time to listen/watch that amount on your phone without your battery dying.
Screen - Clear as fuark. It's big which is good if you want a big screen. Bad if you want a small screen.
Build quality - Steve jobs didn't sculpt nano-details into it with his nipples. But it's good enough for me. Plus gf dropped hers (at least) twice already and it has a small dent in the metal edge that is only noticable if you look for it.
Camera - Best I've ever seen on a phone. Crisp photos and amazing video recording without any shakiness. No blurr.
Also:
Nexus 4 - 2gb ram
iphone 5 - 1gb ram
nexus 4 - quad core cpu
iphone 5 - duel core cpu
nexus 4 - 2100 mah battery
iphone 5 - 1440 mah battery
Plus iphone 5 S will be released early next year.

Lol. That's a silly argument. Just because most people do that doesn't mean you need to rip yourself off here.
Instead of paying $100 a month for a phone, you can pay $50 or less per month if you buy an unlocked phone. Which would you rather have?
So the iPhone is, in fact, double, despite what hoops your brain is jumping through.

In to see that lone Apple ******* get destroyed yet again.
brb posting anonymous stat sources.
brb iOS STILL doesn't have widgets even when jailbreaking.
brb Nexus 4 has superior hardware specs in all departments bar storage capacity and 4G.
brb iPhone 5 is NOT worth 2x the Nexus 4.☆☆☆Jaden Smith school of experimental philosophy and existentialism crew☆☆☆

Unlocked iphone 5s are $649, $749 and $849 for the 16, 32 and 64GB models. For the iphone 5s, there's a small chance you might actually save money by buying through a contract. However, you'll be paying more than the $300-$350 price tag for a nexus 4 no matter what you do.
If you like to use Apple and don't mind paying what I see as being a lot of extra money for some extra storage and LTE, then go for the iphone.
Also, the nex4 is capable of using the LTE networks in Canada. It takes some battery power, but it works.

Brb attacking the source when presented data that obliterates anything you say
Here you go:

Brb you're an idiot and iOS jailbreak does have widgets if you want them

Brb still comparing specs instead of performance. Have you not learned from the iPhone 5 vs S3? Those superior specs sure do a lot of good.
Brb I'm the only one doing any destroying here. U mad?

Lol, wtf are you guys fighting anyway?
Ok, you provided the link and looks like iOS catched up in the US market from October data due to IP5 release on Sept.
The 4th quarter result will be interesting however due to recently released phones like Note 2, Nexus 4, and some Win8 (Lumia 920 and HTC Series).
I have my money on android taking it back from apple.Steam - jinda28

Sweet, so what do we have here:
1. A momentary high in sales due to the iPhone 5 launch.
2. brb having to jailbreak and then being confined to 4 chit looking, non resizeable pseudo-widgets from one app, after spending 15 minutes trying to set up the app. DAT INNOVATION.
3. Performance? Nikka, we've been through this before. Jellybean 4.2 is smooth as butter. Stop comparing Gingerbread/ICS to iOS 6.Last edited by Agentdark45; 12-05-2012 at 01:09 PM.

Another certified retard. First you attack the source of the data, then when it is spoonfed to you you don't bother (or have the capability) to analyze it and draw meaningful conclusions. Instead you just inane assumptions.
The iPhone 5 was only available for five out of the twelve weeks that the survey considered. That means for 58% of the survey period, the three iPhones on offer were the 4S/4/3GS. Momentary high indeed. Let's see how momentary it is when we get the next update with a full quarter of non-constrained iPhone 5 sales. I'd wager the gap will increase in iPhone's favor. Would you like to bet on it?
Brb not admitting you are dead wrong. You just got owned, as usual.
Lol at 4.2 being smooth as butter. Congratulations. It took you all of 5 years to catch up with iOS smoothness that existed from day 1 in 2007. DAT INNOVATION.
Difference is, smoothness is something everybody notices and appreciates. A bunch of dumb widgets on a home screen is not. That's a matter of personal preference. It's not like Apple couldn't do it, they just don't want to because it doesn't appeal to their consumer base. Google spent years getting Android smoothness up to par with iOS 6. Nobody can say they wouldn't have done it sooner if they could have. iOS will always be > Android for the stuff that matters to most people.Last edited by EternallyMiscd; 12-05-2012 at 02:03 PM.

"Kantar Worldpanel ComTech analyst Mary-Ann Parlato says the increase in share by iOS and AT&T are attributable to the release of the iPhone 5."
Full retard.
Oh wait I thought we were comparing the here and now? My bad, let me live in the past and refuse to get newer android phone models / upgrade my OS because I am forever locked into 5 year old Android woe. What the fukk kind of argument is this? Jellybean is just as smooth as iOS 6. End point. You cannot argue this fact.
The entire UI is customizable / entirely replaceable on Android without rooting. You cannot make this a downside. You are now just defending a lack of options/customization/mediocrity out of sheer ignorance. And there you go again with your widget bashing argument. I'm sorry that you haven't found out of the many uses of widgets and why they are so important yet. I forgot that a 4x5 grid of icons with limited customization will forever be the holy grail of innovation....until the 5s's 4x6 grid of icons come out...or maybe if Apple goes totally cray, a 5x5 grid of icons...mother of god!!!!!!!☆☆☆Jaden Smith school of experimental philosophy and existentialism crew☆☆☆
