That's awesome! Bad BB pictures FTW....
Awesome progress - lovin' the abs!
Looks like you're quite a popular edition to this journal already. Great work!
Actually I'm not dieting. Weight in that pic was 228lbs. Trying to make lean gains now.

Haha!!! Yay! I'm glad someone is following my blog! I really just keep it as a personal commitment to myself but I'm hoping other people will be motivated as well. Tell your wife I said, "Thanks!"
LMAO... uhm... yeah a granny ass deserves some granny panties. Believe me, I am quite embarrassed about those before pictures but I've learned to appreciate them for what they are... a "me" I hope to never be again.
**blushing**
Thanks hun. I'm married to an "ass man" too and he is loving the currently curvy body.
thanks!!!

This week in Ov35 for me at 35.3 years old is/was my 1st Power Lifting Meet this past weekend.
Great experience after the nervousness wore off hours later. My performance was "Not bad". Finished 1st in Regional and was overall womens top finisher for the day by coeff as there was a Masters/Sub Masters event. happening at the same time.
Another Ov35 woman encourged me to post up in this thread,I figured since I'm sharing my little high point of the week in my journal and the womens' training section that I'd do here as well perhaps get some form/training advice.
I welcome any bit of form critique and advice if anyone is so inclined as I already know I have some things to fix. Thanks much.

Sad to say...events here in Australia in my life that occurred yesterday have resulted in I wont be travelling to the US this morning and wont compete in the Natural Olympia in Reno or the MuscleMania World titles in Vegas.

Yak, I'm sorry to hear that.
You're a great competitor and you've put in a huge amount of work! I'm sorry that you won't be competing in Reno or Vegas, but you're still a winner and you've got a physique and attitude that I'd kill to have

I will be honest last week I was totally devastated by the news and was really down. They put two stents in one of the veins they used for bypass. The other collapsed. The artery they used for the LAD "widow maker" is working great and was able to sustain me by itself and has built a reroute to my heart. I needed quad bypass and only got triple. So I dont have much working piping ATM. I am going to probably have to look into some experimental surgery options in the future. They added a long lasting nitrogen and changed me from plavix to brilinta. Hoping those help. Also cut almost all the meat out of my diet.
I am over it now and ready to get back on living.Resident smart arse and grammar fool....instagram: heartandfitness

Sorry to hear it from both of you. Hope the best for you both and will keep you in my prayers.
I have been cuttting some unwanted fat for about 8 weeks and PR's have been a thing of the past for a while. Today I was able to deadlift 405x2 though with some inspiration and encouragement from a few members on here. I had previously pulled 405x1 a few times when weighing 180 and up, but haven't been able to pull it even once since going under 180. I weighed 172 this morning.

Thanks pharmamarketer, Korr and other for the positive feed back on my 1st meet.
As far as advise goes, your video didn't provide any good judging angles. That said, the meet itself is the best learning experience you can have. Hope to see more PL meet videos in the future.

Not sucky dips at all! 27 reps and all deep = really impressive!
Great work Dru!
I am really sorry to hear that! You've done really well recovering and regaining mass since the original OHS and you have been an inspiration to many of us. Were you having pain or was it just picked up with a routine follow-up? I hope that it all sorts out for you and that you will get back to your lifting, even if it may be further down the track!
Great work Eric! Down 8 lbs and you repped 405!
You got those 2 reps nicely and I thought you had that 3rd rep as well.
I'm seriously jealous!
Fantastic pics --- you are looking great and I'm mirin' your form on the squats and deads"Better to wear out than rust out!"
