Ive heard a lot of different answers to the best rep range for getting bigger and stronger. The most common answer is with 6-8 reps is this true or what is the best rep range to get size as strength

Any rep range will build size and strength for the 500 millionth time.
You think when the Romans were building the coliseum they were like
"**** brah, you lifted that dere stone 5 to 8 times for five sets, you gon get dem dere optimal gains"
No!!!!
****ing lift, ****ing add more weight every time you lift and quit worrying about **** that does NOT matter. Your body doesnt count reps.

Yes, initially. But you will see on a graph that 5 x 5 x time, and 20 x 5 x time will BOTH give size and strength gains if you progressively overload. OP didn't say which muscle fibers he wanted more of, nor give a time frame. Eventually either set WILL multiply, making you stronger faster and yield more mass. Make sense?
