Maybe. Maybe not. Nothing is for certain. I don't understand why any of the larger companies haven't picked him up but whatever. They're the ones losing money, Kai has a strong fan base.
Edit: Another thing: It's stupid. Some people are born on third base and swear they hit a triple. Bodybuilding is lucrative when you're at the top but when you're up and coming it's a constant struggle. The industry forces people, especially those who started with less, to explore other options. If they are suspicious of those options they should improve their marketing to increase their revenue. It's a never-ending circle...Massive improvements coming to a thread near you...

Thats exactly what i was thinking.
I was in the shower considering G4P, then thought well if Kai had done it I might, then I thought to myself times must have been really hard for him back then to do it, then I thought I wonder what sort of $ he's making now, then I thought I wonder why a bigger supplement company hasn't picked him up. After this year he will probably be top 2 in the world ! well it was a smart gamble by MuscleMeds to take him on, without Kai they would be nothing, I certainly wouldn't have heard of them.

Check my edit. Like I said its MT's loss. You've got people who won't like Kai's physique no matter what, just like any other bodybuilder. But there's also those who will never like him b/c he brings a different approach to BB--mind muscle connection, contraction rather than mindlessly throwing weights around, and a different style. I still contend that he attracts more trolls than any other bodybuilder.

Let me say I think kai has an awesome physique. Big and thick with a tight waist, narrow joints, and round muscles. No structural flaws I can think of. Besides Heath Kai is my other favorite right now.
On the other hand Heath does some odd stuff. Not sure what is up with him. Posing with nothing but a sock on his wiener and other stuff...
I mean If you put him in an advertisement, and he endorses a product, and someone goes online and googles him, what are they gonna find?

maybe he's gotten offers but musclemeds pays him well and he doesn't want to leave the company that helped him when he was a nobody. they better pay him well, he IS the company.

Lol when are you guys gonna realize it's just us. That's the problem. Where is this mainstream industry myth coming from? It's preventing the sport from progress.
I've always been big. Her previous boyfriend worked out. I showed my girl Kai, Phil and Dexter and she even said Dexter was too big.
I dont know about you but if she saw any of them in a commercial you wouldn't have to worry about her doing any extensive research.
Anecdotal story bro^^

I think it has to do with his behavior and appearance. The wrestling masks, the hair, the pseudo intellectual babble, the guy acts pretty fruity and honestly it just gives people another reason to think "freak" and continue on having an uncomfortable feeling about the sport.
Not hating, just being realistic. Compare him to say Phil Heath, Evan or Jay. They come across in a very professional, clean cut, approachable manner. Can't say the same about Kai.Lee Priest for President

As stated above because of KAi Muscle Meds is alot more well known, I never had heard of them and now when I go into GNC They have there own section that takes up 1/4 of the store, so that was a smart move on their part... if i was Kai i would stay with them

Pseudo intellectual babble? Doesn't come off as professional? Honestly man. I'm dying to know...what does it take for genuine guys like Kai to be intellectual??
Kai comes off as very lettered and well-read, and I'm willing to bet he's well versed in the philosophies of guys you might call genuies like ekhart toley, etc.
And then to pour salt in the wound guys (and genuine guys no doubt) like centopani get the nod but he can't? Guess he just represents that "all American spirit"
Sigh...

I figured someone would get all bothered by what I said but face it, the guy acts strange and comes across in a very odd manner. It's not relatable on a large scale, or to johnny gym rat. Again, not hating, just being realistic. I'm sure Kai could quote philosophy all day, that doesn't sell supplements or make you marketable. I will say he stands out, and that IS marketable, but more so as a novelty because he's so "different" and kinda freaky. Just giving my 2 cents, that's what this topic was started for right?

Dude, im being totally honest here. How many of your 53 posts are Kai bashers? 30? 40? 45? Am I warm yet? You even leave for long periods then come back for threads like this. I feel like you'd benefit from Freudian psychoanalysis.
Since bringing up your moot point of his posing is a favorite, here's a quote for you:

Figures. Painting the person who responds to a trivializing statement as angry. So you're a victim now, right? Oh the irony. I wasn't bothered just baffled. And I wasn't responding to whether he's strange or not but to your other statements. You gave your 2 cents and I responded in kind. I see where this is going though. Forget it. Cheers
