Thanks Will. Once I am over the hump, the bigger problem will present itself....total loss of appetite. I just need to drop this bloat. I had several days of serious carbing up, and that just wrecks me. Even doing TKD, I still have the same issues. This has been the one tried and true thing that has proven to work for me. Overall low carb intake. Good carbs, bad carbs...makes little difference for me it seems.

If you want to share your menu, I'd like to hear what you're eating. I did 50g carb days, too, and IT"S TOUGH!!! I'm assuming that you mean 50 total carbs, as some people will exclude veggies. I usually ate eggs for B-Fast, tuna with pork rinds for lunch, and chicken/hamburger w/o buns for dinner.

Right now it is mostly chicken, beef, eggs, cheese, broccoli, green beans and bacon. I add in pork rinds for snacks. I eat salads at least once per day. Yes, it is boring and not sustainable for life. But, I did sustain this once for about 6 months (srs). I plan to stay fairly close to this until I get closer to the BF I am striving for. I am one of those rare guys (seemingly who do better without too much moderation. It is more like 30g per day, but I am ok hitting 50 if it happens.

Good to hear from you KL. I had 52g yesterday, but I can live with that. Getting ready to go do some legs here in a minute. The first week is the adjustment period. After that it just becomes the way it is. Getting rid of the bloat is the best part. Low carb is what got me back in the dance, and I have gotten too relaxed with my diet. My belt shows this as well. Even though it was a small gain, knowing my track record, better to get back on the train now, or end up back where I was. I threw away all of my big clothes, so I really cannot afford that.If you poke a bear in the eye, expect a bear like response.

When you're done with this diet I suggest you do something called "reverse dieting" that some bb'ers use post show.
Look it up on here, I'm sure Dr. Norton has an article or 2 on it.
This diet is meant to keep you lean while gradually upping your cals and macros without gaining fat.
I tried this after show#4 and was impressed, it works well if your disciplined enough.

My numbers are all the small talk I can handle. "D
I Will need to do something, but so far 5 days in, and I feel great. Dropped a few lbs of water this week, and my numbers were consistent (with some increase) over last week.
Here they are:
03/23/2012 (Friday)
Time in: 0800
Time out: 0855
Standing Calf Raises
2 x 165 x 30
1 x 165 x 26
1 x 165 x 24
2 x 165 x 23
Squats
1 x 185 x 12
2 x 200 x 8
2 x 210 x 7
1 x 245 x 2
1 x 255 x 1
Hip belt squats
2 x 125 x 14
2 x 135 x 12
Leg Curls
2 x 65 x 10
1 x 65 x 8
RDL
3 x 205 x 9
I had to go with my wife to the doctor today, so I dropped one set of RDL. My gag reflex was in full force after the squats anyway, so that was wild.
Might cut back on the Jack3d for a few days.
On my way to pick up my new (to me) Golds Power tower for dips and abs.
Going to be a god day for sure. Legs are wrecked. If you poke a bear in the eye, expect a bear like response.

Good job today Craig. congrats on the new toy.
Pork Rinds and hot sauce? I just may have to give that a try. Maybe some wing sauce. I am kinda partial to tuna and wing sauce with a little blue cheese dressing. Now there are some good eatsDavid, a 56 year old pastor, husband and father.

Thank you David. The tower is 84 inches tall, the ceiling is 83.5 inches tall. This will be an interesting job.
Thanks King. I showed up with the money, and the guy asked me if I would "give" him LESS. He was a really nice guy, but I had no change, so he reluctantly took the money (had I had a ten instead of three 20s, he would have taken 50.00). How often does that happen. I did drive 34 miles to get it, but the store carries them for 199.00., so I still did ok.
Thanks man. Much appreciated. If you poke a bear in the eye, expect a bear like response.

I dropped the Jack3d because of the 1,3 in it. Once WADA banned it, I decided that it might not be a good idea if I was going to compete in a double tested federation. My newest experiment is with DS Craze. It does not seem to be as harsh on my stomach as Jack3d was.
For the next few weeks I will be using Craze stacked with Vasotropin as my pre-workout. I'm interested to see what the results will be.

all this talk about carbs has me craving pizza
I've been trying to do a Paleo style diet lately with some success. But I do do some targeted starchy carbs around my runs. Seems to be working nicely."Some people are like Slinkies. They're not really good for anything but they sure bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs."

Knowing myself as I do, at this early stage of my "cut" (take that all you "real" bbers), eating out is not advised. My problem is, I eat when I am happy, mad, sad, and awake. None of those are good for me. Hell, the only real reason I do any cardio is because every minute of that is a minute I am not in the kitchen (semi-serious).
If it sounds like I have issues with food, well I do...I love it. I just want to avoid showing the entire world how much I love it by packing it into size 44 pants, like I used to.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend. I am so far. Back to work Monday. I also have all of my classwork done for my next (April) weekend of classes, and half of the work done for the last weekend. Rolling. If you poke a bear in the eye, expect a bear like response.
